    Nice tribute

    A fairly usual war memorial, but a nice tribute to the war dead. It is on the edge of the old town as you walk towards the cemetery at the end of the headland.

    Saw this as we got off the little train from the harbour

    Beautiful and moving statue in a great position with views to the harbour and walk round the headland

    Nice statue and a fitting symbol and tribute to all who died during the war. Amazing location of the monument, overlooking the bay.

    Inspiring

    Interesting and inspiring memorial statue. It is best admired from the side from where one can appreciate the angle of the sword and the figure and its vigour

    Interesting statue

    Interesting statue honoring the legionnaires, It happened to be right by our hotel in a little open area with an ATM machine opposite.
