Dalbinan Forest National Park was established to protect the local deciduous forest. This forest was once a natural pasture. As early as the Middle Ages, the nearby monastery kept horses here. Because of the rich local forest resources, it was once disturbed by excessive logging. In 1918, it was officially established as a national park. It is hoped that The local deciduous vegetation can grow naturally without human interference.
