As you walk up the main street of the lovely village of Eguisheim you'll run into this striking fountain backed by the the church of Pope Leo the Ninth whose statue looks down on the square. A lovely ...
The square isn't the priority in the village (that is Rue des Remparts Sud), but it is nonetheless a very nice place to check out, and look for the storks nesting on the top of the church bell tower.
Situated just below the chateau and chapel, is this lovely open square with a fountain. The statue is well executed. A lovely spot to grab some photographs or just sit and take in the beauty.

Very nice square
