Finding Gems at Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar
Take a deep breath, and plunge into this maze of 65 winding, covered streets crammed with 4,000 tiny shops, cafés, restaurants, mosques, and courtyards. Originally built by Mehmet II (the Conqueror) in 1461 over the main Byzantine shopping streets, the Grand Bazaar was rebuilt after fires in both 1943 and 1954. It's said that this early version of a shopping mall contains the largest concentration of stores under one roof anywhere in the world, and that's easy to believe.
Some of the most aggressive salesmanship in the world takes place here, so take yet another deep breath, and put up your guard while exploring. Oddly enough, though, the sales pitches, the crowds, and the sheer volume of junky trinkets on offer can be hypnotizing. Enjoy a glass of tea while you browse through leather goods, carpets, fabric, clothing, furniture, ceramics, and gold and silver jewelry. Remember, whether you're bargaining for a pair of shoes or an antique carpet, the best prices are offered when the would-be seller thinks you are about to slip away.

Very busy market of spices, jewellery and fake designer goods! You can get good deals and will be beckoned into every place you pass.
The Grand Bazaar of Istanbul is indeed so big that it is lost, and the shop you want to find at the intersection may take at least half an hour. You have to sell it, and you can buy it.
It is the best shopping center, food, souvenirs, souvenirs, all kinds of 🥰
Istabul Grand Bazaar is really big, the items are very rich, similar to the domestic small commodity market. A little special is the little brother who sent tea on the plate during the shuttle, first send a circle, and then take a circle to recycle the cup.
Exotic style is strong, Persian-style goods are everywhere, but some are from Yiwu, China, and you need to buy carefully.
amazing place to visit, a lot of shops, too many. you can spend the whole day walking around. a must visit if in Istanbul.
Big Bazaar - the meaning of a big market. Istanbul's Big Bazaar is located in the center of the city. It is one of the largest and oldest Bazaar in the world. It is said that there are more than 4400 stores around it. There are many busy people coming into Istanbul. Everything in Turkey, even in East and West Asia can be bought here. They all said: If you haven't been to Big Bazaar, you won't have been to Turkey. You have to bargain when you buy here, or you can't negotiate.
