This is a park along National Highway No. 16 (it takes about 20 minutes on foot from Minamisakurai Station). There is a large bamboo mats with 100 tatami mats at the intersection of the park, which is overwhelming. The park also had playsets, and the green carpet was wide and very nice.
A park along No. 16. There is a parking lot in the park and the flower clock is beautiful. There are no playsets in particular, and people who come for picnics or walks stand out.
Showa Town merged with Kasukabe City. It disappeared in the form of being absorbed. This park enters the name Showa, and now retains the remnants of the disappeared town. It's not a famous park, but it's quite large. But there is nothing particularly eye-catching. I don't think it's attractive enough for people in the distance to come to play. It's for locals.
The large park is perfect for enjoying a leisurely walk. There are some facilities (furnaces) provided for barbecue, so it seems that reservations are required. If you bring a stove, etc., you can do without a reservation. Many people have barbecue on spring and autumn weekends.
It is a large-scale urban park with a baseball field and a gymnasium, adjacent to the Showa General Branch. Water springs out of the rocky area of a small hill and flows into a stream, so you will be healed. Many trees are planted and there are walking paths around. There is also a lawn plaza, so I enjoyed walking with dogs. You can also enjoy field athletics and barbecue, so you can enjoy it with the whole family.
