Guanyin Bridge

Guanyin Bridge Attraction has rich and colorful cultural landscapes, beautiful and charming natural scenery, and traces of celebrities everywhere. Guanyin Bridge was built in 1014 AD. The bridge is 19.4 meters long and 4.8 meters wide. It is a stone arch bridge built with 107 pieces of granite, each weighing more than one ton. The "Sixth Best Spring in the World" designated by the Tea Saint of the Tang Dynasty is 30 meters east of the Guanyin Bridge. In 781 AD, the Tea Saint came to Lushan and ranked the best springs in the world into 20 grades. He determined that the spring water here is clear, transparent, sweet and refreshing and named it the sixth best spring in the world. The Lushan Cloud Tea brewed with this spring water is the best and most exquisite tea.

Guanyin Bridge Scenic Area is also a Buddhist holy place. To the west of the bridge is Cihang Temple, and on the back of the bridge is Qixian Temple, a thousand-year-old temple from the Southern Dynasties. Qixian Temple is one of the five major Buddhist monasteries in Lushan.
