    A few interesting paintings.

    The Palacio and the forest are beautiful, but the Convento situated alongside the Palacio is a bit disappointing. It does not convey the same feeling of peace and serenity as the Convento dos Capuchos...

    One can still see the outside

    At present, August 2019, the onvent is being restaured so one cannot go inside and visit. However pretty pictures can still be taken form the outside.

    Wellington stayed in this very convent in 1810

    This is such a wonderful building The mosaic facade and you can get to feel its vibes. The famous battle of Bucaco Sept 1810. How could I not see this.It will also feature in my next book.
