This is a small museum (Ninomaru Tenjikan) in the former Ninomaru area. Admission is free.
The main structures of Japanese Castles are usually Honmaru (main area), Ninomaru (second area) and Sannomaru (third area) and a keep. Honmaru is where the feudal lord resided and is protected by an o...
I put it in for free.
It is a museum near Otemon. You can enter the museum for free, and a miniature of Mito Castle is exhibited in the museum. Knowledge deepens if you stop by and then go around the castle.
Revisit
The main exhibition hasn't changed since I visited last time. I wonder if the exhibits don't move much. The walking tours were listening enthusiastically to the guide's story.
Shuiyucheng のミニ Archive
Mito Castle of the Tokugawa Gosanke has no remains of buildings other than the Yakuimon gate, but it is undertaking maintenance such as the construction of a restored gate. You can learn a lot at this exhibition hall.
A must see for history lovers
It is a small museum consisting of exhibits such as materials, monitors, and tiles. You can visit it for free. There was a public toilet next to the building.
