The grand castle of Oleśnica!
Just have a look at the photos enclosed to judge whether or not the Castle is worth your visit. I have enjoyed my visit thoroughly - in particular the views from the Castle Tower.
Old castle
Dated back to 13th century, it was a seat of Dukes of Oleśnica till 19th century. First mention of a castle is from the end of 13th century, but some kind of estblishement was built on the site before...
Olesnica Castle
This castle looks more like a palace. It does have some fortified walls and gates, but it just looks like a well protected palace.

We were near the castle in November. Beautiful, magnificent castle. Reconstruction works are carried out outside. Inside the castle nowhere. The castle is visible from a distance
