Many Buddhas are enshrined along the approach.
Original Text
Many Buddhas were lined up along the approach. When passing in front of you, you have the impression that your heart is somehow transparent. The large tree in front of the main hall left an impression on me at the temple of the Soto sect.
1469 It is a temple of the Soto sect that was founded by Tainian Shotsubaki Yamatohisa and opened. There is also a temple town in Sakata City where many temples gather, but it is a little far from the area. The statue of Jizo Bodhisattva of the dew seat is enshrined in the precincts. It has a dignified and calm appearance.
Since it is a family temple, I visit every season. There are 7 large cherry trees (one logging) including preserved trees in the precincts, which create a cool shade even in the hot summer. It is a famous story that there was a Terakoya in the Edo period.
It is a temple of the Soto sect located a 10-minute walk from JR Sakata Station. In June, I worshiped on the way from Sakata Station to Seigameen. It is a historic temple built in 1469 and has been in its current location since 1652. The Jizo sitting statue in the precincts was an impressive temple. It's close to the station, so if you're interested in shrines and temples, why not visit?

it looks modern.
It's actually old and well maintained. Maybe it has a tourist meaning, or it's easy to access, so if you've never been there, you might want to go.
