Nice good view of Shima Ago bay in the south
was last here in 2014. Panoramic view of the south Ago bay. lucky to have blue sky and blue sea with floating pearl farms here and there. quite some photographers came here to take sunset views.
Tomoyama Park is a lovely setting for a pleasant hike through nature. The best part of our experience was our very knowledgeable guide, Mr. Hideki Nomura (090-5853-7988, hu-yumi@e-net.or.jp or hid...
I arrived at the parking lot in about 30 by car west of Daiozaki. Since it was daytime, there are very few cars and it seems to be a spot where the sunset looks beautiful. You can see Ago Bay with low altitude and flat, but I didn't think it was a very good place.
The Yokoyama Observatory is crowded, but you can monopolize the scenery here. The altitude is low, but it is a wonderful view. Kashishima is completely visible.
It seems that Okushima is further south from the back of the Shima Peninsula and the area where Kenjima is located. Tomoyama Park was one of the intricate capes of Okushima. Kirigaki Observatory is located at the tip of this park, that is, at the northern end. From this observatory, I could see the intricate Ago Bay on the north side. There were few visitors.
