a small temple on the back street.
Original Text
It is one of the temples on the back street in the Yotsuya 3-chome area. It is located south on the back street near the "Tsunomorizaka" intersection. The building itself was relatively new and had no historical atmosphere.
It is a Jodo sect Goteyama Hozoji near Yotsuya. There is a main hall with a tiled roof and a building like a Western-style modern hall. Some of them are small eaves.
It is a temple of the Jodo sect located in Wakaba, Shinjuku-ku, and is called Goteyama Shikoin. Wakaba is dotted with temples in the densely populated houses and condominiums. Hozoji is one of them. It's medium-sized, but it's a solid structure.
There was a minibus and I couldn't get close to it because of the large number of attendees. It is a temple of the Jodo sect, and it is said that Ieyasu Tokugawa moved from Aichi Prefecture to Edo.

Original Text
Initially located in Anjo-cho, Aokai-gun, it moved to its current location in 1591. When you enter the mountain gate, the main hall stands quietly on the left side. Tombs are lined up on the right side. There were no other worshipers and it was quiet.
