Hongcun Village flowing through time
When it comes to Hui-style architecture, many people might think of Hongcun Village. Hongcun is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and through clever use of its geographical location and spatial layout, a village of Hui-style architecture has been built here. The houses in the village are well-arranged, and the interior and exterior decorations have distinctive local cultural characteristics.
With curiosity about Hui-style architecture, I came here by reputation. Shortly after entering the scenic area, I saw many students sketching by the river, with rows of Hui-style houses reflected on the river surface. From time to time, a breeze blew, causing ripples on the river, creating a rhythmic and very comfortable scene.
Along the river, across the arch bridge, following the crowd, I entered the ancient charm of Hongcun. The blue brick and black tile horse head walls are characteristics of Hui-style architecture. The houses are often decorated with red lanterns, and the connected houses outline the streets. The streets crisscross along the water flow, forming the overall outline of Hongcun.
Walking in the streets, it's like opening a scroll of time. Chengzhitang was once home to wealthy merchants, the sound of reading echoed in Nanhu Academy, and various folk art pieces were treasured in Shuren Hall. These marks of time allow every visitor to understand the history of Hongcun.
Unconsciously, I arrived at the central area of Hongcun - Moon Marsh. Moon Marsh is a crescent-shaped pond, reflecting the surrounding buildings. In Moon Marsh, quietly waiting for the moon to rise, watching the lights come on, enjoying the tranquility and beauty of this moment. With the arrival of nightfall, my journey in Hongcun also came to an end.
If you, like me, want to see Hui-style architecture, why not take a walk in Hongcun~

【Recommendations】
🌟The temperature difference is large in the morning and evening, it is recommended to prepare warm clothes
🌟Food and accommodation are provided in the scenic area, you can choose as needed
🌟The scenic area is large and the walking distance is long, it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes
🌟Taking photos at Moon Marsh is very photogenic, but there are many people, pay attention to safety when taking photos, and take care of your belongings
The autumn scenery is really good, very beautiful, especially the reflection. Be sure to go in the morning to get the reflection. There are many people, the commercial taste in the village is too strong, the feeling of tranquility in the village is lacking, and the direction sign is not clear, and it is easy to bend around.
The scenery of Hongcun is beautiful, the two ancient trees are very atmospheric, the street commercialization is too serious, and I didn't notice the Huizhou architecture. The sun was too sun-dried on this day, and I felt that I lacked poetry and painting.
Blue sky and white clouds, breeze blowing, exquisite carved wood, are worth seeing. I really suggest to give an explanation, understand that different patterns of wood carving have different meanings, there are similarities between the house and the house, but its history is different, to understand the wisdom of the ancients
It is still a very worth seeing attraction. I went in and out three times in three days. I took pictures of the beautiful Hanfu in the late Qing Dynasty. Many passers-by were stealing pictures of me, and my sister was taking videos of me. The effect of the cheongsam that came with it was also very good in the alleys of the village. Hongcun is really a film, next time I plan to bring my mother.
In fact, there are many Huizhou buildings here. You don’t have to enter Hongcun. There is a Nanhu (very beautiful) Moon Marsh (generally) There are many things to sell. Of course, I have never been there. I personally think that the tickets are slightly more expensive. The scenery is really good. The history and culture of it need to be specially invited to guide to deep. Enter and understand the overall score of eight! This trip is still quite happy, if it rains a little, it will be more beautiful ☺️
The whole scenic spot of Hongcun is very clean, the water in the South Lake is clear, the trees and buildings by the lake reflect in the lake, the ink paintings attract many sketchy students, the design of the moon marsh is half-shaped, reflecting the wisdom of the designer, the alleys are quiet and flowing to the house, all reflecting the design wisdom of the entire village water system. The two big trees at the entrance of the village mean blessings for happy events and consolation for white things. Overall, Hongcun is a place worth visiting
Hongcun is indeed worth a visit. The scenery is beautiful and the buildings are simple. Especially living in it. It will feel very quiet at night. If you don't consciously sleep early and get up early, you will wake up naturally at six o'clock. It is not too pleasant to serve a night of porridge and small pickles in the morning. The local restaurant inside tastes good, the price is moderate, and the snacks are also delicious. I like Gegenyu, Baihuayu, Hairy Tofu, and Shiqi Cake ~
