The mansion is on a hill and is a nostalgic park that anyone can enter from the gate. Modern architecture from the Taisho era to the early Showa era consists of a Japanese-Western style building and a warehouse in the back. It was donated and managed to Yokohama City in 1996. While visiting Negishi Forest Park, I stopped by this mansion in the neighborhood. According to the pamphlet purchased at the reception, it was built in the Taisho era as the residence of the Yanagishita family, which ran a metal merchant. It was roughly divided into the West Building, the East Building, and the Dozo. When I entered the entrance of the West Building, I saw the bathroom. There was a Goemon bath that reminds me of my childhood.
