The hotel's free shuttle service was fantastic! While not located directly in the hot spring town, the convenient minibus shuttle service for transfers was a huge plus. Dinner was great, with a good selection of beverages. Breakfast was also excellent! The hot springs are shared with the adjacent hotel, and my family thoroughly enjoyed the soak. Excellent value for money!
I used it on a snowbo trip with my former colleagues at the company. I was able to spend a very pleasant and enjoyable time, such as flexibly responding to the request of the room and considering the dining venue according to the number of people. The hot spring was also pleasant. I will definitely use it again.
The staff was very good.
I am very satisfied that I can enjoy the food and eat various dishes little by little. I didn't get tired of watching the murals in the bath.
The staff was very happy to serve and it was a fun trip.
There are few inns that I want to use again, but Tatsumi Kan wanted to use it again!
Thank you.
The hotel was clean, the breakfast was abundant, and the service was warm and attentive. The location is convenient, very close to the central station, and nearby supermarkets like 7-Eleven are very handy. I recommend staying here.
The hotel is located about half an hour's drive from Shangmao Plateau Station. The hotel has a free shuttle bus. The hotel will send an email one day in advance to confirm whether you need to book a shuttle. The hotel is in a small village, there are no modern facilities around, such as small hotel cafes, etc., basically can play in the hotel.
The hotel is divided into two pieces, one is the location of the main hotel lobby, with the hotel lobby, restaurant, and small courtyard, as well as a public hot spring pool open to the outside world. The other is to ignore, mainly with accommodation rooms, a hot spring developed only for the accommodation passengers, and a small cable car. Two places can be reached by the hotel's unmanned tram, but the tram is very slow. It takes about 4 minutes to walk normally, and you need to walk a lot of stairs, which is not very friendly to passengers with inconvenient legs and feet.
The overall style of the hotel is similar to the retro farm style, a bit like living in a small temple, the overall layout of the room and outside the hotel is quite detailed, there are many old-looking decorations, and the hotel also collects a lot of antiques. It feels different from other Japanese and modern Western hotels I usually live in, which is quite novel.
The hot spring in the main hall seems to be a mixed bath for men and women. The other hall is separate for men and women. The hot spring has a sulfur taste but is not heavy, indoors and outdoors.
If you eat a meal, I personally feel that the medium is a little bit above the level. The weight is really big. It is no problem to eat. 😂
The hotel is built on the hillside. Our room is at the highest point of the other hall. It overlooks the large rice fields in front of the hotel. The view is very wide and the scenery is very good when the sun is good. The room is large as a whole and private. There is a bathtub in the room, but it is not hot spring water.
To sum up, the hotel style is quite distinctive, the view of the room is good, but the traffic is not particularly convenient, and the overall price/performance ratio is still slightly lower for me. Originally, I didn't book other hot spring hotels before I temporarily booked this one with a vacancy. Overall, the experience is medium-sized
The hotel is clean and the service is very good!
The environment is quiet and quiet, and it is a good place for vacation and leisure.
There are enough parking spaces for parking, and it is best to drive in and out, because other traffic is not convenient.
The breakfast food is diverse and delicious!
The inn is located at the highest point of the stone steps of Ikabo Onsen, and the room offers a view of the scenery down the mountain. Although old, but still well maintained, staff service attitude is good, the lobby has free coffee, tea and other drinks. It's a pity that I went to the wrong open-air hot spring because I didn't listen to the staff's introduction.
Because there is no restaurant convenience store near the hotel, I chose to eat in the hotel restaurant, which is delicious and not expensive. The rooms are clean and comfortable and cost-effective.
The location is excellent, with parking available. The dinner and breakfast buffet were delicious. The hotel's public hot springs were clean and had many pools to choose from.
The staff were friendly and spoke English.
I initially booked a room that was just right for three people, but it turned out to be incredibly spacious, probably able to accommodate 7-8 people. Although the hotel is old, overall, it's a great value.
Excellent service especially lunch takeaway preparation & transportation!

LLim familyIt’s a bit hard to get to the hotel from bus terminal if u have luggage with u as it’s a downslope to get to the hotel. There’s also isn’t any lift in the hotel so we have to carry our luggage up to the second floor. We realised when we checked out that there’s actually locker for the luggage at the ground floor. There’s only one type of water in their public onsen which is kind of disappointing as we have high expectations since it is an onsen town. The onsen water however is good. We do feel some difference before and after onsen. There’s also free coffee & hot chocolate drinks right outside the onsen area. It would be better if there’s ice water in the onsen area as the water can get very hot & especially when there’s no cold tub there. The room however is spacious with comfortable bed. There’s also a foot bath located at the ground floor of the hotel right beside the breakfast area.

XXINGQIThe traditional Japanese hot spring hotel has two open-air hot springs, a soup of Chicheng and a soup of rock mirrors. When you take a hot spring, you can see the opposite mountain view and beautiful scenery. Laoshen Hot Spring is at the entrance of the tail owl, and plans to go to the tail to hike early in the morning. The woman of the hotel will hear that I am going to go to the stern, and I will help me to contact me for the next day to go to the tail of the bus. I feel that the service attitude is really touched.

GGuest UserWonderful room, service, and overall experience. The room was equipped with a gas heater that quickly warmed the room up despite the January cold. There were also cups, a tea pot, satchels of green tea, and an electric kettle to prepare tea in the room. The onsen bath was very hot and wonderful and the futon and pillows were comfortable. 5/5 experience!

GGuest UserThe owners were very genuine and kind. Although they could not speak English, they really made sure we had everything we needed. Very traditional Japanese ryokan experience. The place is a little old but super clean and cute. Beautiful mountainview from the room. Would really recommend! Arigato gozaimasu.
GGuest UserIt's a bathing place, but there is no shower room in the room, so you have to go to the public bath to take a bath. The service is also average, it seems polite, but the corridor is carpeted, and no one is willing to help you with your luggage when you check out, so you can only pull a suitcase cart back to the room to take your luggage.
