With Australian international borders now open to the world and no quarantine on return to Australia, it's time to go on that overseas trip! Australian citizens and permanent residents must have proof of vaccination to exit Australia. If you are vaccinated, you must present your COVID-19 vaccination certificate to the airline staff when checking-in for your travel. You can get your International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (ICVC) from the MyGov portal. Qantas expects to resume flying to a select group of international destinations for a gradual rebuilding of its international network, based on advice from the government over the reopening of Australia's international borders. The airline's plans also hinge on the prospect of either quarantine-free travel bubbles or 'green lanes' between countries, or a limited period of manageable home isolation on their return to Australia instead of spending 14 days in hotel quarantine. Qantas will fly to Singapore, London and Los Angeles with daily flights, and Jetstar will taking off to Vancouver, Tokyo, Fiji and Honolulu.
