I've been staying at Atour for a few years now, and I really like their pillows and service. This time I booked in a hurry through Ctrip and it didn't include breakfast. I spoke with the manager and they kindly gave us three complimentary breakfasts. Thank you so much!
I know the hotel probably doesn't care about reviews anymore, but their unprofessionalism was evident right from the airport pickup. It wasn't even the front desk that answered the phone when I tried to contact the hotel! Luckily, there was a pickup service at 12, which is why I'm giving a mediocre review. But if there's no pickup service at 12, why is it listed as available? The bed was a bit dirty, and the towels were old. It's 2026 now, and when my delivery arrived, it was just left in a corner downstairs, no call, no delivery robot. The security guards have a very 'politicized' vibe; I suggest giving them permanent government positions, so their attitude isn't wasted.

My stay at this Atour Hotel in Kashgar far exceeded my expectations – a truly delightful surprise! We arrived late, past 11 PM, having booked two rooms. The hotel was fully booked, so the rooms we got were a bit small. We arranged with the front desk that evening to switch rooms the next day. The following day, upon arriving in the lobby, we hadn't received a follow-up. We completely understood, as the hotel has massive daily traffic, and the front desk staff and housekeeping ladies work incredibly hard; everyone is exhausted. When we got to the lobby, we happened to see a female manager handling a customer complaint. A guest was requesting a free stay, and she remained calm and composed throughout, skillfully de-escalating the guest's emotions while firmly upholding the hotel's reasonable stance. Her handling of the situation was impeccable. After we proactively brought up our room change request, she immediately stated that promises made by staff must be honored, emphasizing the importance of contractual integrity in service. She then promptly arranged for us to change to a different room type. On this trip, we traveled through many cities in Northern Xinjiang, and compared to numerous hotels along the way, it's exceptionally rare to find a hotel in Kashgar managed with such dedication. Before coming, I had browsed online reviews, and it seemed there were quite a few operational issues previously. During my stay, chatting with the front desk and housekeeping staff, and speaking with other employees over coffee, I learned that the current general manager had been on the job for less than two months. The GM has years of mature hotel management experience from mainland China; they are highly professional and extremely responsible, personally overseeing everything, big or small. The staff all candidly admitted that they've learned many practical working methods from them. You can constantly see management staff on duty throughout the hotel, proactively engaging with guests and noting their needs. Chatting with other guests in the lobby, it was clear that everyone could noticeably feel the hotel improving bit by bit. The entire team genuinely wants to provide excellent service and treats every guest with sufficient importance. The hotel has a self-service laundry room and a gym, with complete facilities. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Kashgar! The hotel gives off a vibrant, thriving energy, a feeling of coming home!

The front desk staff were warm and provided excellent service. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The laundry service was incredibly convenient, and the hotel's downtown location meant there were plenty of great restaurants nearby. If I return to Yining, I'll definitely choose this hotel again.
Our last stop in Southern Xinjiang was a very pleasant stay! They offered complimentary breakfast, and when we asked for local food recommendations, they suggested 'Warehouse No. 3 Restaurant,' which had excellent ambiance, service, and dishes. The breakfast was also rich and delicious. Since we had a late flight, the front desk attendant kindly arranged for a late check-out after learning about our situation. It was a truly delightful experience.
My first impression of the hotel wasn't great. The road in front was closed, and the street outside was packed with parked cars! It took us ages to find the parking entrance. The female security guard at the entrance had a really bad attitude. She was there for both check-in and check-out. When we asked for a luggage cart, she just wheeled it over and stared at us, not offering to help. We had to specifically ask her to move each bag. It was the same when we checked out. Eventually, we just gave up and moved our own luggage to the car. We've been on a road trip, and this is the first time we've encountered anything like it! I initially let it go during check-in, thinking she was a female security guard and perhaps working hard, but since it happened again at check-out, I have to mention it. It really tarnishes Hilton's image, doesn't it?
Also, the room felt a bit small. The bathroom and shower are together, and it felt like the door couldn't even open properly. I strongly suggest installing some hooks and towel rails; having none at all is really inconvenient!
There were some good points though. The bathroom had a non-slip mat, which most Hampton by Hilton hotels on our trip didn't. With my elderly mother, safety comes first, and normally when I ask hotels for one, they can only give us another floor mat.
Another plus was the humidifier in the room. That was a lifesaver! Sometimes on our trip, my throat felt so dry at night. As someone from the south, I'm giving a big thumbs up for the humidifier!

When driving to Kashgar Old City, I usually park at Kunlun Tower. The hotel is conveniently located directly across the street from the parking lot, making it easy to find. The front desk service was excellent. I left a piece of clothing on the first day, and it was still there when I returned on the third day. Very impressive!
This newly opened hotel boasts a superb location, nestled against a mountain and facing the water, offering a beautiful environment. However, it's a bit far from the county town, so you'll need to drive or take a ride to get there. I stayed in a capsule room, which was clean, hygienic, and equipped with smart, convenient facilities. It was very pleasant to sit on the sun deck, sipping tea and chatting.
This weekend, I brought my family to Turpan and stayed at the Hampton by Hilton Turpan. It was truly excellent, a solid five-star review! Especially the front desk staff, Xiao Yi and Xiao Pan, whose attitude was so friendly and service so warm and thorough. They really made us feel valued – excellent, excellent! 👍 The room was spotless, no strange odors, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable, so I slept soundly. All the facilities were in good working order, hot water came quickly, and the water pressure was strong. Very satisfied!

The hotel's location is great! It's right next to Kunlun Tower and very close to the East Gate of the Old City, maybe a 10-minute walk at most. Gaotai Residences are just across the road. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, including a whole street dedicated to pigeon soup. The navigation was accurate, taking me to the closest parking spot to the hotel, and parking was free after registering my license plate number when leaving. The room was nice and quite spacious. However, when I arrived at 3 PM, the room wasn't ready yet, so I had to wait in the lobby.

MMeishiqushaishaitaiyangheyueliangExcellent location, right next to the scenic area entrance. The hotel is very large with many rooms and good facilities. However, the air conditioning was poor. We wanted to move rooms to be closer together, but there were no options available. After not moving, they provided a space heater, but it was still a bit cold at night. Breakfast was decent, though some of the hot dishes weren't heated sufficiently or at all, so they felt a bit cold. Everything else was great.
Grassland photo shoot experience (3 selected photos/room): We didn't get to enjoy this, and the front desk didn't mention it.

YYinxiaThis is my top hotel choice in Xinjiang, and it certainly didn't disappoint! The room was fully equipped, the bedding was comfortable, and the shower had great pressure and hot water – absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff were incredibly warm, polite, and caring, even proactively asking guests if they'd had dinner and offering a complimentary buffet dinner. This was so thoughtful! I was really touched because I was suffering a bit from altitude sickness that day and hadn't eaten dinner. Thank you for your service; it really helped ease my altitude sickness. Even though I only managed a little cereal and yogurt, it warmed my heart. Thank you! The hotel also has 10 washing machines and dryers, so there's almost no waiting to do laundry, which is very well organized and I'm extremely satisfied!
SSimagangzaguangguangguangThe hotel is quite large, and at first glance, it gives off a five-star vibe.
The room is spacious, and the decor is clearly well-thought-out. The style is very modern and trendy, and the materials used are all of good quality. The hairdryer is similar to a Laifen (and works great!). They even provide latex pillows by default (which is a huge plus!).
However, the cleanliness isn't up to par (a common issue in Xinjiang hotels). You can clearly see stains.
They have two robots that deliver food, and when they arrive at your door, there's an automatic voice reminder in the room. The breakfast spread is also good, with a wide variety of options.
⚠️ The only thing that really drags it down is that the rooms aren't smoke-free. One day, when I left my room, the hallway reeked of smoke. I'm not sure which room it was coming from, but it immediately dropped my perception of the hotel down to a 3-star level. 🤦♂️
XxiahormilaThe location of the B&B is very good. The room layout has a strong Western style and is very clean. The paintings in the corridor are said to be the graffiti works of the proprietress herself, but the colors and composition are very beautiful. It is a few hundred meters away from the century-old teahouse, and it is very convenient to go out. I came back in the afternoon just in time for the princess' wedding program. The place where I stayed was just the starting point, and I had an immersive experience. The proprietress is very enthusiastic and cooks good dishes. The price is very affordable. She is really good at both the living room and the kitchen. It must be praised. I will stay here next time.
GGuest UserWhat a hidden gem of a hotel! We arrived at 11 PM and called ahead to order dinner from the hotel restaurant. The lamb hotpot was absolutely incredible – seriously, so, so good.
The service was outstanding and so welcoming. The staff helped with all our luggage; even if I walked past with just a backpack, someone would immediately offer to carry it. The coffee at breakfast was also the best I'd had in all my days in Xinjiang.
Beyond the beautiful environment, the hotel also offers horse riding (for a fee) and archery (free). We stayed at the hotel until well after noon before checking out, which was incredibly relaxing.
We initially thought it would be a two-hour drive to Kokesu, but a staff member told us about an entrance that was only a 20-minute drive away. That was a huge help, truly.
All in all, everything was perfect. We didn't get to see the stars because it rained that night, but we had no regrets at all because this hotel is just phenomenal. Oh, and the hotel also has fast charging stations for electric cars!
MMaidoumm^(oo)^Booked two rooms here. Originally, we planned to stay in Fuyun because we were going to Tianchi the next day. However, since we'd already made it all the way to Urumqi, we decided to stay for a night and explore. We booked this hotel last minute. It's very close to the Grand Bazaar, about an 8-10 minute walk, and the area around it is bustling with activity. Finding food is super convenient; there are restaurants and a small mall downstairs. The price was a bit on the higher side, but the great location makes up for it! It really depends on what you're looking for.

GGuest UserI highly recommend the Modern Four Seasons Hotel! The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent – I slept soundly until morning. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and very efficient. The location is convenient. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

GGuest UserI think it's fantastic! I arrived in early June, and the front desk upgraded me to a suite for free, which was a wonderful surprise! I thoroughly checked the bathroom, and it was very clean. Consumables in the room, including drinks and nut snacks, were replenished promptly. I'll definitely come back again and highly recommend staying here.

JJill CassandraA Hidden Gem That Feels Like Coming Home
Tucked away in the embrace of raw, untouched nature, MuseNomad Retreat is the kind of place that feels almost too beautiful to be real — like stepping into a postcard. Yet behind the picture-perfect setting is something even more special: the kind of warmth and care that turns a stay into a memory.
From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. The owners go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels at ease. One gesture I’ll never forget — I was rushing for a tour and hadn’t managed to press my clothes. Though there’s a laundry room available, the owner personally helped me iron them, refusing any payment. That small act of kindness stayed with me.
We’ve stayed in many retreats claiming to offer luxury, but this place redefines what true luxury means. Here, you pay a 3-star rate and receive a 5-star experience in comfort, sincerity, and service. The rooms are cleaned daily with meticulous attention to detail — we were even touched to find our own tea and coffee sachets neatly arranged by housekeeping.
Meals were another highlight. The food has that unmistakable home-cooked feel — warm, nourishing, made with care. When they learned I don’t eat beef or mutton, the kitchen prepared special dishes just for me, without a fuss. That kind of consideration is rare and deeply appreciated.
And how could I forget Tian Tian — the gentle, lovable golden retriever who quietly added to the homey atmosphere. Her presence made the stay even more special, like having a sweet companion always nearby.
MuseNomad Retreat isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a place to truly rest. Of all the accommodations we’ve experienced across our travels, this one touched us the most. As our three nights came to a close, I felt a genuine sadness — a quiet wish that we could stay just a little longer.
If you’re looking for a restful, heartfelt escape where nature, comfort, and kindness meet, this is the place. MuseNomad Retreat is not just somewhere we stayed — it’s somewhere we’ll remember fondly, and miss dearly.
