TTraveler2I recently stayed at this hotel and had a great time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was nice and had a balcony, which was perfect for relaxing. The eating area was big, and the menu had lots of good options. The best part was the view from my room in the morning—it was amazing and way better than I expected. The hotel is also in a good location, just a 30-minute walk from the churches, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its friendly service, nice rooms, and fantastic views.

GGuest UserThe location is very central which is good. At the moment the building is undergoing some construction work so there is scaffolding up and the windows and balconies are splattered with building materials, but this does not affect the interior.
Breakfast was good but offered very few choices which would appeal to international travellers. Coffee was better than similar hotels offer.
The spa was good with an excellent massage service.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Overall, a good experience.

IIsi1I had a wonderful stay at Honeyland. From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and well-organised. The location is ideal.
What really stood out to me was the level of service. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.
It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and it truly made my visit memorable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Lalibela

RRayRayChanI am the only guest. Most staff don’t speak English, Power was down the first night. There are no Internet, no TV. The location is good. It is only five minutes Kareli to the rock church. The view from the rooftop is beautiful , they made a good breakfast. Please note airport transfer is not complimentary contradictory to what they say in the website.

GGuest UserBuilt on a cliff, the windows offer stunning views of distant mountains and highland canyons, showcasing a truly beautiful natural landscape! Breakfast is a set menu, and the abundance and deliciousness exceeded my expectations! It's one of the best choices when visiting the Rock Church in Lalibela.
