This is definitely the best resort in Manado. Although it is a little far from the city (but the absolutely beautiful sea view must be far from the city), it has its own pier and dive shop. Who knows my family, why there are no Chinese people staying here. I went to stay at 2 pm, and I arrived more than an hour early. There were welcome drinks and sandwiches (I really didn't expect sandwiches), which was very considerate. The resort is small but very beautiful, with a very, very good sunset, and saw the blues moment. I booked a waterfront room, and the sea is right outside the door. It was suffocating. Where can I find such a room at this price! ! ! And the room is very large. I didn't take a photo of the shower area. It was clean and large, and the decoration was unique. (Can you take a new photo of the official website? Your resort is amazing, and the photos in Ctrip are too ugly) Dinner starts at 7 o'clock. Because it is far from the city, I basically choose to eat in the hotel. The price is OK and the taste is OK. After all, I am really not used to the dishes in Manado, but this one is OK. This must be a great resort for divers. It has its own dive shop, its own speedboat, and daily dive site itinerary. It really exceeded my expectations. I will definitely come to Cocotinos again next time I come to Manado. The view is amazing. The windows are large and open, and the staff are so friendly. It's really noisy because there are so many different guests, but the hotel's soundproofing is absolutely terrible, so I couldn't sleep. They even changed the towels two hours before I left for the airport, so I ended up using the same ones for three days. The shower head is attached to the ceiling, so I couldn't change the showerhead or filter. This is a note for travelers. It doesn't seem like they clean the room; they just refold the blankets. The worst part is that the breakfast was so poor that I couldn't eat after one day. It was really bad. Maybe because Manado isn't well-known yet, there aren't any Korean reviews of Amaris Hotel, so I'm writing this. I translated the same information into Indonesian at the front desk when I checked out, and they apologized! However, I thought it would be good to know this before booking, so I'm leaving this here!

The sea view from this place is absolutely stunning. I stayed here for two nights in Manado as a layover before going diving in Raja Ampat. I arrived at the hotel at 7 AM on the day of check-in and was able to pay an extra 250,000 IDR at the front desk for an early check-in, and they even upgraded my room. On the day I left, my flight was at 8 PM, and I paid another 250,000 IDR to extend my check-out until 4 PM. Overall, everything was great, and the front desk service was excellent. However, the bathroom felt a bit old and run down, probably because the hotel itself is older and the bathroom maintenance hasn't been great. There's an Italian restaurant downstairs called Amicoo which was quite good, although the service was a bit slow.

Whether it was the friendly greetings at the front desk, the impeccable service from the kitchen team, or the extraordinary gesture from the general manager who even provided transportation for us in his own car to the pier area for our next destination, every interaction left us feeling valued and welcomed. Despite their limited English proficiency, the staff's dedication shone through in every interaction. -I encountered a mishap during my trek to Mount Awu, where I misplaced my instant camera. A local found it, and with the help of Gilbert, one of the hotel staff members, the camera was safely retrieved and ensured it was in good condition. Additionally, when I slipped while trekking, my local guide called Gilbert, who promptly drove himself to arrange for me to be transported back to the hotel, ensuring my safety and well-being.These acts of kindness and exceptional service truly made my stay at Tahuna Beach Hotel and Resort unforgettable. Good stay overall I stayed at favehotel Bitung in North Sulawesi for a few days. The location is convenient, close to the city center and main roads. The room was clean, simple, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, check-in was smooth. The breakfast was decent, though not a lot of variety. Wi-Fi worked well most of the time. The air conditioning and hot water functioned properly. Overall, a good and practical place to stay. Not luxury, but worth the price.

Comfortable Luxury Stay with a Fantastic Pool Experience My stay at Four Points by Sheraton Manado was overall a very satisfying experience. While there were a few minor shortcomings considering the hotel’s price range and brand level—such as the absence of a hairdryer in the room—the overall quality of the stay more than made up for it. The room itself was quiet and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. The bedding was especially cozy, ensuring a good night’s sleep, and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. These fundamentals were executed well, which made a strong positive impression. One of the most appealing aspects of this hotel is its flexibility with check-in and check-out times, which adds convenience for travelers with varied schedules. However, the true highlight is the swimming pool, which is available until 9 PM. Being able to enjoy the pool in the evening significantly enhanced the overall experience. The poolside bar also deserves special mention. It offers a wide selection of food and beverages, and interestingly, guests can order additional items not listed on the main menu—such as pizza, sandwiches, and burgers. This flexibility adds to the sense of comfort and hospitality. Despite a few details that could be improved to better match the hotel’s pricing and branding, Four Points by Sheraton Manado delivers a quiet, clean, and comfortable stay with excellent pool facilities, making it a strong luxury option in Manado.

The hotel is reasonably priced. The breakfast is mediocre. However, for this price, including breakfast, this hotel is a good deal in Manado. The rooms are clean, everything works, and nothing is broken. In short, the maintenance is good. Most Western tourists come for Bunaken. They constantly count prices in euros and dollars, resulting in almost anybody in Manado treating Western tourists as cash. This hotel offers car excursions for ridiculously high prices, such as Rp 850,000 per person, while a price of around Rp 700,000 for a car with a driver would be normal. If four Western tourists go on a day trip, they would pay 4 x Rp 850,000 = Rp 3.4 million. The average monthly salary in Indonesia is approximately Rp 3.8 million. In short, Manadonese people should understand that by offering motor cycles and cars for rent and offering excursions at reasonable prices, they can sell much more than by selling excursions to a single tourist at ridiculously high prices. Because I speak Indonesian well, I can arrange a car with driver through the locals for a normal price, but this should simply be offered to Western tourists through hotels.

The location is excellent, and although I had to wait an additional hour for my sea view room, it was completely worth it. The staff at both the reception and breakfast areas were extremely friendly, and my room was spacious and clean—perfect for a solo traveler

Amazing Cabin with a scenic view of sunset and ocean and city of Manado. Staff are super friendly and accommodating and cater to every needs (no cap) they helped me renting a motorbike, taught me to ride as well. With complimentary gifts and lighters when i lost mine , and helped with breakfast to my room and carrying my luggage all through whatsapp. Very Good service from staff there. The room itself was very good with adjustable lighting and colors and blurred/clear screen for views. Amenities are also amazing with BBQ pit and fireplace and good 24/7 service. Overall 10/10 for this hotel and very worth for its price. Thanks Bobocabin will definitely visit back again -Zaf 🙂
