I had only booked a basic sea-view room, but upon check-in, I was informed of a complimentary upgrade to a larger room. It was such a pleasant, unexpected bonus that truly made me happy and satisfied. The upgraded room was incredibly spacious and featured its own private ocean-view balcony. Opening the window revealed stunning panoramic views of the clear blue sea and the iconic Phoenix Island – the scenery was absolutely breathtaking! The room was impeccably clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. It even came equipped with a washing machine and refrigerator, which added to the convenience of the stay. The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of the city center. It's just a short walk to the beach, and shopping districts and food streets are all nearby, making dining, shopping, and getting around incredibly easy. Plus, there's free parking for those who drive. While it doesn't offer an excessive array of complex services, the core experience was truly excellent, and the room upgrade alone made it incredibly worthwhile – fantastic value for money! I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Sanya, and I've already recommended it to my friends~

The architecture and environment are truly magnificent, definitely worth a deeper exploration. The 'Dongpo Academy' play was well-produced; it would be even better if there was transport in the evening to experience the immersive live show at Dongpo Academy! However, the service and transportation have significantly deteriorated compared to four years ago. The shuttle service to the high-speed rail station is practically non-existent: no clear signs, long waits between buses, and often no seats due to overcrowding – I couldn't get a ride both ways. The bus service to Haikou has also been cancelled. The most disappointing aspect is that many of the original attractions are closed, and those that are open charge exorbitant fees. A ticket to the Ocean World costs 160 yuan per person, and the mini-train, which used to be included in the accommodation fee, now costs 60 yuan per person! Such a large-scale resort, yet the management is so outdated! I have no interest in returning next time.

The hotel's service was excellent. Erin was very patient, and Coco was very friendly during check-in. I booked two different rooms and had a great experience with both. The sea-view suite was spacious, and every room had a balcony directly facing the ocean. You can also walk down to the beach from the hotel. Plus, there's a pool and hot springs on-site, which is a big plus!

The service here deserves full marks! Every staff member I encountered was incredibly enthusiastic. Our butler, Coco, was very responsive to all our questions and proactively offered help. The room was spacious and clean, and the mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—which made for a fantastic night's sleep. From check-in to check-out, there was absolutely nothing to complain about; the whole experience was excellent.

Traveling with friends, we chose the Baoting Qixianling Hot Spring Resort Hotel. First, we were immediately impressed by its tranquil environment, lush greenery, and fresh air. The hot spring water felt wonderfully smooth on our skin. Second, the hotel staff's service attitude was exceptional; they were always ready to help, making us feel completely at home. The hotel restaurant's dinner was surprisingly good value for money, exceeding our expectations. We would definitely come back here for another vacation if we have the chance.

Booked the honeymoon suite with our kids. High floor, great views! The room was quite spacious, and the balcony was lovely. Waking up to a sea view was amazing. The room had a fridge, TV, sofa, and a table with chairs. It was perfect for an occasional meal or getting some work done. The cleaning lady was super efficient, and amenities were promptly refilled – they provided whatever we needed. They even had a booster seat, kids' toothbrushes, and could add an extra bed and safety rail. We had a very comfortable stay. The hotel is huge! The pool water was a bit chilly when we went, too cold for me, but plenty of people were still enjoying it. There's also an indoor heated pool, great for kids to splash around in. They provide swim rings and towels, which is convenient, but do note the opening hours. There's an outdoor water slide, but it was a bit too cold to use this time of year. We managed to squeeze in some playtime when the sun was out and it was warmer in the afternoon – the kids loved it! Next to it, there's a small kids' play area with a little slide and climbing frame. They also offer travel photography, and the photos turned out great! I brought my own clothes, but they also provide outfits, hats, and small bags to choose from. Right next to the hotel's front desk is the pick-up point for deliveries and food orders. The staff even helped unbox my package and repackaged it into a Guoguang bag – so thoughtful! For food deliveries, they have a dedicated locker. I really love the scenery here. The hotel breakfast was decent, mainly for convenience with a good variety of options. There's a private underground tunnel to the beach, so you don't have to cross any roads – very safe and convenient! The large lawn at Guoguang is perfect for photos. The hotel offers many family activities, but we didn't join any, haha. Our kids just love playing in the water, but I saw lots of other children participating, so I imagine they're quite good. Overall, a fantastic experience! Five-star rating!

Location is great and the hotel has direct access to Coconut Corridor. Room is ok except that the room temperature dont seem to be adjustable. The sound proofing of the room isn't the best could hear the loud slams of the neighbours' doors and in the morning could hear the cleaners cleaning the rooms. Was hoping for a bigger heated pool however the pool that is heated is small and crowded with kids. A shout out to Libby for her awesome service through our stay.

The hotel is about a 25-minute drive from Haikou East Railway Station. It is a large resort mainly designed for golf visitors. The hot spring pools are located very close to the hotel building and stay open until 11 p.m. The breakfast starts as early as 6 a.m., which is convenient for early risers or guests catching a morning flight. The location is not very convenient, as the nearest shopping mall is about a 20-minute drive away. We booked a room for three adults, but the hotel only provided two complimentary entries to the hot spring pools. The third guest had to pay 88 RMB. Since the booking clearly included three adults, it would have been a nice gesture for the hotel to extend complimentary access for all three. Overall, it’s a spacious resort with enjoyable hot springs.

I stayed two nights in Shimei Bay, one at Le Méridien and one at The Westin. The Westin's lawn is very picturesque, and the beach is relatively long and narrow with a bit of a slope, but the loungers are quite comfortable. The indoor heated pool is excellent, very warm, and a standard 50-meter pool. Our butler, Miss Mile, provided thoughtful and timely service. She helped us book our departure transfer and even sent fruit and cake, offering an unexpectedly great service experience. She definitely deserves special commendation!
