GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel from August 12–17, 2026. It was the best hotel of our entire trip.
1. Location:
The hotel is a 30‑minute walk from West Street. However, from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, a free shuttle bus runs between the hotel and West Street in both directions – very convenient! The area around the hotel isn't very touristy – there aren't many cafés or shops nearby, so for everything we had to go to West Street.
2. Hotel grounds:
The crown jewel of the hotel is certainly its huge swimming pool surrounded by mountains. We had an absolutely unforgettable time swimming in the pool with that view. Unlike most Chinese hotels, the pool is deep (up to 1.7 m) and very large – even with many guests around, nobody got in anyone's way, and we could swim freely. A small downside is that there aren't many chairs or benches around the pool to put your things on, but we always found a spot.
Besides the pool, the grounds include a lake (unfortunately the fountains weren't working), a tennis court, and a small walking area with swings.
As a suggestion to the hotel: we missed evening lighting. It would be wonderful if the trees, the lake, or the mountains were illuminated, so that after sunset we could take an evening stroll.
3. Service:
Deserves the highest praise! The day before our arrival, the manager contacted me on WeChat. When booking the room, I had left a request for a quiet room with a nice view. Since we had a room for three people, all such rooms faced the street and had no balcony. The manager took my request into account and gave us a free upgrade to a room with a balcony (with a stunning mountain view) and added a third bed.
The manager, Xiuxiu, is absolutely incredible – she made our stay truly comfortable and took care of us throughout our entire visit. First, she spoke excellent English. Second, she was always available on WeChat and answered all our questions. Third, when we were checking out, my mum left her pendant in the pocket of the bathrobe and was very upset. I wrote to the hotel on WeChat asking them to look for it. Not only was the pendant found, but they also arranged express delivery to my Chinese friend on the very same day. That is professionalism at its best – thank you! Other requests during our stay were also handled promptly, such as changing the bathrobes to ones we preferred or bringing a third set of tableware.
We also bought tickets for the Impression Liu Sanjie show at the reception. It was very convenient and cheaper than buying through the show's official WeChat account.
The hotel offers many amenities: water, juice, and candies in the lobby, plenty of lounge areas, a shop, a free laundry room, and a gym.
Breakfast at the hotel was very convenient. For European tastes, it wasn't extremely varied, but there was enough to choose from. It would be great if the café remained open during the day as well (for an extra charge).
4. Room:
As I mentioned, we were upgraded to a room with a balcony. It was very quiet and the view was breathtaking. The room itself was large, with big, comfortable beds. There was a split‑system air conditioner (not a standard wall unit), but it was surprisingly tricky to adjust despite its seemingly simple controls – sometimes it would cool the room too much, and sometimes even when set to 23°C, the temperature would keep rising to 26°C, and so on.
A slight inconvenience: the shower is right in the room (as in many Chinese hotels), and there's nowhere to hang a towel without it getting wet. But this wasn't a major issue.
The room was cleaned daily: fresh water, tea bags, various kinds of coffee, towel changes, floor mopping! Upon check‑in, we were also greeted with a welcome fruit platter and even some instant noodles (which came in very handy after our journey). The room had a refrigerator and even a dish steriliser. It was quiet inside – we couldn't hear the neighbours, and there was no smell of cigarette smoke.

GGuest UserWe had a great stay at LS Hotel! Even though it can be a pricier option the service and the amenities are WELL WORTH IT. On top of the most stunning hotel view we've ever had we enjoyed the breakfast, afternoon tea, and night soup. We even made use of the included photo shoot! This photoshoot in particular was a fantastic experience thanks to our photographer (Ci Ci) and they give you all the unedited photos! Unlike other hotels or experiences that make you pay per photo and pick only 2 of the 100 they already took, this experience is exceptional in that they just give you all the unedited photos and you can do whatever you want with them which is all we've ever wanted! Also the photoshoot itself is quite lovely and is some of the best scenery we've ever experienced. Great stay and we'll stay again next time we're in Yangshuo (which will hopefully be soon)

GGuest UserStaying at the Xi Shi Jin She Hotel was an incredibly healing experience amidst the beautiful landscapes of Yangshuo. The hotel is located right by the Yulong River, and with the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you're greeted by stunning karst peaks, with bamboo rafts slowly gliding by on the river – it feels like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and tidy, the toiletries were of excellent quality, and the facilities were exquisite and comprehensive. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were fresh and delicious. The rooftop infinity pool offered amazing photo opportunities. It's also super convenient for visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery. This is definitely my top choice for a stay in Yangshuo, a perfect experience!

We stayed here as a family with children and really enjoyed our time. In Yangshuo, many hotels have beautiful mountain views, but this hotel stands out because it is not only scenic, but also very quiet, peaceful and comfortable inside. For us, this was a huge advantage.
This is a warm family-style hotel where you feel that the owners truly care about every guest. The hostess was always nearby and personally paid attention to the quality of service. The staff were very friendly, polite and always ready to help.
Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was done on time, and everything felt well maintained. For this level of room, the price was very reasonable, which makes the hotel a very good value for money.
Another big plus is the swimming pool. For a family trip, especially with children, having a pool at the hotel is a real advantage compared with many other hotels in the area.
One of the nicest details was the afternoon tea with sweets — it made the stay feel even more welcoming and personal. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm and relaxing, which is exactly what you need in the mountains. The garden, the views, the fresh air and the peaceful environment helped us rest properly.
The night before, we stayed in another hotel where it was noisy and uncomfortable because of construction nearby, so here we especially appreciated the silence, cleanliness and comfort. We finally had a proper rest.
This hotel is a great choice for families, for people travelling with children, and for anyone who wants a quiet and cozy place surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. We left with very warm impressions and would be happy to come back again.

Мы останавливались здесь семьёй с детьми, и нам всё очень понравилось. В Яншо, как мы поняли, у многих отелей есть красивые виды на горы, но большое преимущество именно этого отеля в том, что здесь не только красиво, но ещё и очень тихо, спокойно и комфортно внутри. Для нас это было огромным плюсом.
Это уютный семейный отель, где чувствуется настоящая забота о гостях. Хозяйка всегда была рядом и лично контролировала качество обслуживания. Персонал очень доброжелательный, вежливый, всегда старался помочь и сделать проживание максимально комфортным.
Номер был очень просторный, чистый и удобный. Уборка проводилась вовремя, всё было аккуратно и приятно. Для такого уровня номера цена, на наш взгляд, очень недорогая, поэтому соотношение цены и качества здесь отличное.
Отдельный большой плюс — наличие бассейна. Для семейной поездки, особенно с детьми, это действительно важное преимущество по сравнению со многими другими отелями в этом районе.
Также нам очень понравились приятные детали: послеобеденный чай со сладостями, зелёный двор, красивые виды, свежий воздух и общая спокойная атмосфера. В горах именно такой отдых особенно ценен — здесь можно по-настоящему расслабиться и восстановиться.
Ночь до этого мы провели в другом отеле, где рядом шла стройка, было шумно и душно. Поэтому здесь мы особенно оценили тишину, чистоту и комфорт. Мы наконец-то хорошо отдохнули.
Отель отлично подойдёт для семей с детьми и для тех, кто ищет не шумное место, а спокойный, уютный отдых среди красивой природы. У нас остались очень тёплые впечатления, с удовольствием вернулись бы снова.

DDoudouqieyiyouI chose this hotel for my trip to Yangshuo and was extremely satisfied. The location is great, and it's just a starting-fare taxi ride to West Street. Since twin rooms were unavailable on the day of my booking, I booked a family room instead. The room was huge, and the bathroom was equally spacious with a well-thought-out layout that showed great attention to detail. It also features a kids' play area and a large bathtub. There is a rooftop pool where children can splash around. The breakfast is a buffet offering a mix of Chinese and Western options. The service was prompt and excellent, and they even efficiently handled the cigarette smoke smell in the room. Spotlessly clean.

GGoncalo G.We spent 4 wonderful nights here, and the kindness and attentiveness of the staff was the highlight of our whole trip. We were greeted with a welcome drink, and check in was warm and relaxed. They surprised us with an upgrade to a room with a private balcony overlooking the river, and someone walked us there personally.
The room was spotless, and everything in the minibar was complimentary and restocked daily, a small touch that meant a lot. The pool is compact, but we always had it to ourselves, with a stunning view to match. Breakfast was delicious, and eating in the outdoor area made it even better. There is also a spa with very fair prices, which we sadly ran out of time to try.
The location is a real plus. Guilin's lively night streets are about a 15 minute walk away, close enough to enjoy but far enough to sleep peacefully. Just across from the hotel, a small local restaurant sells cheap cold beer, perfect for drinking on the balcony.
The building shows a little age, but the service and location more than make up for it. Easily 5 stars.
At checkout, the team surprised us with a lovely tea box as a farewell gift, a perfect final example of their thoughtfulness.
If we return to Guilin, SYYF is our first choice, and we'll look for this brand on future trips around China. Thank you for everything!

GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel from August 8–11, 2026. We were very satisfied with our stay. Here are more specific details:
1. Location:
Extremely convenient! The hotel is located right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of all the major attractions: the Sun and Moon Pagodas, Elephant Trunk Hill, and the West–East Pedestrian Street. Of course, the area around the hotel gets very crowded and noisy in the evenings, but inside the hotel and in the room, you can't hear the street noise at all.
2. Service:
At check‑in, even though it was 4:00 PM and check‑in time is from 12:00, our room wasn't ready and we were asked to wait an hour (in fact, a little longer). After a long train journey on a hot day, that wasn't very comfortable. However, we had no further problems after that: the ladies at the reception were very polite and always ready to give advice or help.
A special mention goes to the hotel's laundry room – it's free and doesn't require any detergent or washing gel. All programmes are preset; you just put your clothes in and press start. Very convenient!
3. Room:
We had a Spacious Leisure Triple Room. The room was very clean, with good, fresh renovation – just like the whole hotel! The main drawback was the lack of storage space (no wardrobes or dressers), so it was quite difficult to hang our clothes. Otherwise, the room was wonderful. Instead of a standard air conditioner, there was a ceiling‑mounted split system, which was easy and comfortable to adjust. The beds were simply fantastic – so comfortable and large; sleeping on the pillows was a real pleasure. The bathroom was a separate room, not like in many Chinese hotels where the sink is right in the room and only the shower is separate. The bathroom had an amazing new shower cabin – you could really relax in it – as well as a new smart toilet, and a mirror with lighting and heating.
The room was cleaned daily.
A note that may be relevant for foreign guests like us:
Each floor of the hotel is quite small and compact, with about four rooms. The room doors are opposite each other. During our entire stay, our neighbours changed every day – each time they were Chinese families who did not close their room doors. They literally lived with their doors open: brushing teeth, washing, drying their hair, watching TV, and children running around and shouting from room to room. This not only surprised us but also caused inconvenience – they would return to their rooms late in the evening and start making noise just as we were going to bed, and they would get up early in the morning when we still wanted to sleep, shouting in the corridor. On the last days, an elderly couple moved in opposite us, and the man kept smoking non‑stop in his room – the smell drifted into our room and was absolutely terrible. I understand that this is a human factor and the hotel can do only so much about it, but I would suggest that the hotel introduces a recommendation for guests to observe quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM and to keep their room doors closed.

We stayed here with our family and children for two nights. We were absolutely delighted with the hotel and the hosts' hospitality! They welcomed us like family! Warm, thoughtful, and attentive!
The boutique hotel is modern and stylish, with a smart home system throughout. Cleanliness, excellent air conditioning, crisp white linens, towels, and robes. Comfortable mattresses and pillows. Everything is new and perfect. It's a little piece of luxury, modern paradise amidst stunning mountain scenery!
The food is incredibly delicious. We ate all our meals at the hotel and enjoyed every dish!
The view from our room was stunning!
Special thanks for taking us everywhere and patiently waiting while we explored. They gave us so many gifts! I'd dreamed of a photo shoot, and it was so nice to receive that as a gift!
And the trip to the top of the mountain to watch the sunset was incredible, magical!
Every moment was taken care of! All our wishes were fulfilled instantly, as if the hosts could read our minds.
My worries about insects were in vain. No one bit us.
We felt like we were in a fairy tale!!!
I'll definitely come back to China again, and I'll definitely come back here and stay at this hotel!

GGuest UserThe hotel actually have 2 buildings. The photos on trip.com is only showing the building 1 which is kind of misleading. I wasn't too happy with the allocation to building 2 initially as there is no view at all surrounded by nearby low rises. However the reception 小桃and the evening/ night shift young man is very helpful and polite. Our clothes got stuck in the dryer and he helped us out. The room where the breakfast is organized at building 1 fifth floor with the magnificent view. The courtyard of building 1 is also very nice where kid can learn fishing.
The only other problem is there is gap between the bathroom blind and the see thru window. I would suggested the window to be tinted or extend the width of the blind for privacy. Otherwise the bathroom is the best one I have been to in this China trip.
To get to the main shopping area west street, we need to take the Didi which is about 15 cny and there are many more choices for food and other services. But we like this hotel area where it is away from the bustling and markets.

This 270° river-view room with a balcony bathtub is picture-perfect; every shot looks like a masterpiece, offering exclusive romantic views of the Li River.
The location is a huge plus, making getting around super easy! It's a 5-minute walk to Guanlian Pier and just 10 minutes to Yangshuo West Street. It's also convenient to rent electric scooters nearby, and for those driving, there's a free parking lot and charging stations.
The massive balcony directly faces the Li River, offering panoramic views of the mountains and water, creating an instant luxurious ambiance. The hotel boasts a popular infinity pool and a 'Sky Mirror' that's great for photos, plus a fully equipped gym and a children's play area, making it suitable for both couples and families.
The breakfast and dinner experience was excellent. There's a rich selection of both Chinese and Western breakfast options, and upon check-in, we received a complimentary exquisite double welcome afternoon tea, which was both beautiful and delicious.
