The location is super convenient, close to major transport hubs and business districts, making it easy to get around and find food. This really saves on commute time. The room has all the basic amenities, and the bedding is reasonably comfortable. Hot water and Wi-Fi are stable, fulfilling basic rest needs. Hygiene is up to par; there are no noticeable odors or stains in public areas or the guest room, and daily cleaning is well-maintained. The price is very reasonable, offering good value for money compared to other places in the same area and category. It's ideal for short stays or business trips.

This is my third day at the hotel, and Mr. Li at the front desk reserved the same room with a bathtub for me. It's clean, bright, and comfortable, so I've been sleeping very well every night. Mr. Li even helped me take a passport photo to apply for the UOM app. Plus, the front desk assisted me with receiving a package. Overall, the service has been thoughtful and excellent.

This is an old hotel that has been so popular that the owners got lazy and forgot that the image of luxury must be backed up by actual service quality. On the outside and in the lobby, it's luxurious. In the actual rooms the impression is very underwhelming: old furniture, tiny TV and no electronic features, especially considering that the room is large and the price is high. The quality of room maintenance is bad (see attached photos): - bedsheet with holes and ripped edge; - sofa with ripped covering; - towel with ripped edge; - dents on wooden wardrobe doors; - dirty finger marks on the wall; - desk lamp with a bent plug; - clogged shower (water was drying out during the whole night); - one of the lights wasn't working. This is unacceptable for such a high price and luxurious marketing, especially considering high Chinese service standards and more Western-oriented marketing of this hotel (it would be a very bad and untrue representation of a ”chinese hotel”). There were only three good things about our stay: great breakfasts (there was coffee!), nice location and nice view. Overall, this could've been truly an amazing accommodation (location, food, luxurious lobby) if only the owners cared to renovate the rooms slightly, add more modern facilities and force the stuff to be more mindful of cleanliness and ripped bedsheets/towels/sofa. But seemingly the owners do not care, so I strongly do not recommend this hotel if you're looking for high quality service.

Extremely convenient location! Downstairs, you'll find the Nanguan snack street, and it's just 100 meters to Nanguan Mosque, 400 meters to Dongguan Mosque, and 500 meters to Beiguan Mosque. The geographical location is absolutely perfect. It's only 2 km from the train station and a 30-minute drive to the airport. The floor attendant, Ma Ping, was incredibly welcoming. She gave us yogurt for each room and even helped me freeze the beef and lamb I bought from the night market. I highly recommend Hilton to anyone visiting Xining.

5-star review! This stay exceeded my expectations. Being on a high floor, the night view was excellent. The hotel facilities were complete and well-maintained. The room was exceptionally clean, with attention to detail, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast offered a rich variety and tasted great, and I was pleasantly surprised to find they also had late-night snacks, which were delicious. The hotel even thoughtfully provided a small gift, and the service was incredibly warm. It's my top choice for travel, and I'll definitely stay here again next time! 👍

It turns out this decision was incredibly smart! Definitely a five-star review. Location & Transportation: The hotel is very close to Caojiapu Airport and offers a 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle service. After we landed, one call and the driver arrived quickly, which was super convenient. For travelers with late flights or those catching an early flight the next day, this is absolutely the top choice. Room Facilities: The room was very new; you could tell it had been recently renovated, but there was no strange odor, which I really appreciated. The bedding was soft and clean, making for a very comfortable sleep. Although it's near the airport, the soundproofing was good, so it was quiet at night, and the kids slept soundly. Cleanliness: The entire hotel was exceptionally clean. From the lobby to the hallways and the room itself, everything was spotless, which made our stay very reassuring. Service Attitude: The front desk staff were warm and attentive. Check-in was quick, and they proactively informed us about breakfast and the shuttle service. They even gave us yogurt upon check-in, a thoughtful detail that was much appreciated. Overall Experience: This is a highly cost-effective airport hotel, suitable for family travel. On this business trip to Xining, I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Xining Chengdong the entire time, and my overall experience was fantastic. I have to especially commend Julie at the front desk; her meticulous service made me feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is located on Bayi East Road in Chengdong District, right next to Wuyue Plaza, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's also not far from the highway entrance and Xining Station, which is great for both driving and public transport. As a newly opened hotel, the lobby design is elegant, and the room amenities are brand new and complete. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a wide view, and the room was spotlessly clean. The 24-hour gym and self-service laundry facilities are well-equipped, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety, including local Qinghai specialties like yak yogurt and甜醅 (sweet fermented oats). I arrived feeling exhausted in the evening after a long journey. Julie greeted me with a constant smile and efficiently handled the check-in process. Seeing my heavy luggage, she proactively offered to help carry it and patiently explained the room facilities, Wi-Fi password, laundry room, and breakfast times. When I casually asked about self-driving routes to Qinghai Lake and local food spots, she patiently outlined an itinerary, even recommending niche attractions and reminding me about precautions for high-altitude travel. When my room card stopped working, I contacted the front desk and Julie came to resolve the issue within minutes, without any pretense. Her service was professional yet down-to-earth throughout, without any rigid formalities; she genuinely thought about the guests. While good hardware is a hotel's foundation, warm service is what truly adds value. Thanks to Julie's thoughtful service, my travel fatigue disappeared. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xining, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

I had two short (two nights each) stays at the San Want. The desk staff is excellent- they get things done, are friendly with a tourist with no Mandarin, and seem to genuinely care about my well being. Checkin was easy and smooth. I had a reservation through Trip.com. There is a food street next door, a Bank of China branch on the corner, and plenty of available taxis and a public bus system that is efficient. It is not a new building, but the owners maintain it. The house restaurant is okay, but there are many choices right outside the door. I will stay again if I return to Xining.

My overall stay far exceeded my expectations, so I absolutely have to write a detailed positive review to recommend it to anyone visiting Xining! The hotel is located in Chengdong District, making transportation incredibly convenient. Whether you're taking a taxi to the train station, the city's commercial district, or setting off on the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, it's very easy. There are plenty of dining options and convenience stores nearby, so you don't have to worry about getting around. The front desk staff were warm and professional. Check-in was quick, and the registration process was simple. They proactively and thoughtfully reminded me about precautions for high-altitude travel, hot water usage, and breakfast times. They patiently answered all my questions, and even offered to help with my luggage when I had a lot – their attention to service details was impeccable, with no hint of perfunctoriness. I particularly want to praise the King Room. The room was much more spacious than other hotels in the same price range, feeling completely unconfined. The entire room was spotless, cleaned with exceptional thoroughness. The floors, tabletops, corners, and bathroom were all meticulously clean. The bed sheets and duvet covers were brand new, odorless, and neatly made. The two-meter king bed had a mattress with just the right firmness, and the pillows were comfortable. After a long journey, lying down on it allowed me to relax quickly, and I had an excellent night's sleep. The room's soundproofing was superb; I could barely hear any noise from the hallway or the street, ensuring a particularly peaceful sleep at night. The room boasted excellent natural light and views, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a glimpse of Xining's cityscape. The warm-toned lighting created a wonderful ambiance. The Wi-Fi speed was lightning-fast; streaming videos and uploading work files was completely smooth. The bathroom featured a dry/wet separation, with ample water pressure and quick, consistent hot water – making showers comfortable and refreshing. Toiletries were fully stocked and of good quality. Power outlets were conveniently placed for easy charging, and there was a spacious storage area for luggage and personal belongings. The hotel's amenities are also very practical. There's free parking, so self-driving guests don't have to worry about parking. They also have a laundry room with drying facilities, which is incredibly friendly for travelers who need to wash and dry clothes during a long trip. The overall decor is simple yet elegant, and the facilities are well-maintained – new and not dated. In terms of value for money, it's among the best in its class in Xining. Whether for leisure travel or a business trip, this King Room at Park Plaza is an excellent choice. It provides peace of mind, comfort, and reliability. We chose this hotel for our trip to Chaka Salt Lake, and it was a pleasant surprise! They upgraded us to a family room, which my child absolutely loved. They even hugged the big goose, as if seeing a long-lost relative. By the way, even without the upgrade, the twin beds (1.35 meters) would have been spacious enough. The room was large, parking was free, and they helped us with our luggage during check-in. The service, especially from Song, was incredibly thoughtful. Once we confirmed our arrival time after visiting Chaka Salt Lake, delicious wonton noodles were promptly delivered. I had eye drops that needed freezing, and they had dedicated staff who quickly helped with ice and other requests. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich. I'm not sure if this hotel is four-star or five-star, but the breakfast definitely felt five-star. I particularly remember the impressive mixed noodles. The hotel also has its own laundry room, which some five-star hotels don't. It's a free laundry room with drying facilities. What's even more impressive is that the laundry room was comfortably air-conditioned and had a self-service beverage machine where I enjoyed a hot orange juice and a hot milk. Very impressive! Laundry bags were also conveniently available for self-service, and of course, they were also provided in the room (thanks to Song). In short, it was incredibly convenient and definitely not just a place to crash for a night. If you're not in a hurry, this hotel is truly a place where you can stay and slowly experience the Northwest. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the scenic area. If you specifically come here after visiting Chaka Salt Lake, you have to backtrack a bit to continue on G315 towards the desert. But experiencing Golmud, this western city, was also a wonderful experience. I have no regrets at all, thanks to our stay at the Golmud Yellow River International Hotel.
