The hotel boasts an excellent location facing the Fen River, offering beautiful riverside views. The rooms are well-equipped with amenities like smart toilets, a huge TV, and a complimentary minibar. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices. Right next to the hotel, there's a restaurant that's clean, affordable, and delicious, serving both noodles and rice dishes with generous portions at great prices. The hotel also provides a high-speed train station shuttle service, though reservations are required. Overall, this hotel is fantastic! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Linfen!

I booked this hotel in advance for our May Day holiday trip to Taiyuan. It's an established five-star hotel, and both the facilities and service are top-notch. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It's super convenient to get to, right outside Exit A2 of Changfeng Street Station on Metro Line 2. Plus, it's next to Tianmei Xintiandi, a bustling commercial area, and taxis are always easy to find. We visited Zhonglou Street, Liuxiang, Jinci Temple, Tianlong Mountain, and the Shanxi Museum, and honestly, there's nothing to complain about except that some of the furniture feels a bit dated compared to newer hotels. Otherwise, it offers great value for money. I'll definitely stay at Kempinski again next time I'm in Taiyuan.

The service attitude was exceptionally good. When a line started forming for check-in, more staff immediately came to the front desk to assist. They also offer late check-out. The room service was impeccable, and they provided a crib. There were complimentary welcome fruits. The breakfast selection was quite rich, including knife-cut noodles and freshly ground coffee at the counter. The overall environment was very good, fitting the description of an older, established five-star hotel. I requested a non-smoking room in advance, and indeed, there was no smoke smell. The bathroom drain didn't have any unpleasant odors either; generally, there were no strange smells. The window could be opened, which at least prevented stuffiness. In late May, after 8 PM, the air conditioning could be turned on for cooling. The shower water pressure was excellent, which was a big plus. The family deluxe suite had two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a connecting door, which was the main reason I chose this hotel. The room size was ample. The only downside was that the mattress was too soft. The hairdryer was a Dyson model, and the sink was large enough for three people to use simultaneously. The soundproofing was good, and overall, I was very satisfied. The cleanliness was also up to standard. I had read reviews about staff helping with luggage, and traveling by car with an infant, I was really hoping for some assistance. However, no one was at the parking lot. Perhaps this service isn't available unless there's special weather. Parking was very convenient though.

I visited Taiyuan during the Chinese New Year and stayed at the Zhanghe Hotel. The location and service were excellent. I booked the hotel on the second day of the ***** New Year, and the price was very reasonable – only 360 yuan per night including breakfast for two. The room had a separate shower and toilet, which was very convenient. They also provided disposable toiletries such as towels, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. Breakfast was served until 10 am; there was still food available around 8 am, but by 9 am, there wasn't much left, probably due to the large number of guests during the Spring Festival.
Free parking was available, and I parked in the parking lot of the Jin Merchant Museum, which was very convenient. I also visited the museum. The hotel is just a few hundred meters from Liuxiang, Gulou Street, and the food street – perfect for shopping and eating! However, it was very crowded during the holiday; all the surrounding restaurants had long queues.

The staff were so so friendly and super nice!!! Told them it was our honeymoon and there was a handwritten note with fruits and snacks waiting for us on the table. They didn't have to, but they did ☺️ when we left, we were rushing for the train and didn't have time to eat breakfast. The staff were so concerned we were skipping breakfast she quickly packed some food for us to go and even ran after us to pass us cutlery because she forgot to pack some.
Would recommend staying here 10/10!

I was in this city again for a business trip and decided to stay here. When we checked in, the hotel told us that the hotel next door was under renovation and it would affect our rest during the day. Actually, it didn't bother me much, as we weren't in our rooms during the day anyway.
Now, let me talk about the environment. The hotel has a warm, wood-toned design, the lobby is bright and inviting, and the rooms have smart home controls, which are convenient and easy to use. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable!
Just outside the hotel, there are convenient restaurants and shops along the street, and it's also close to the bus station, making transportation easy. I'm very satisfied with my stay here!

We had a late pickup from the train station and were very warmly welcomed. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable, and the next day we were even brought back to the station.
The hotel is located right in the center of the old town, so all major sights and restaurants are just a short walk away. The location is perfect for exploring the historic Pingyao old town while still being able to enjoy a quiet atmosphere in the evening. We had a really great stay in Pingyao. The hosts went out of their way to be helpful and very attentive. The staff speaks English, which made communication easy and pleasant. We especially liked that breakfast was even brought to our room.

Having stayed in numerous high-end hotels over the years, this one truly deserves a heartfelt five-star rating from me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It's an established five-star hotel. I specifically booked a city-view room. It's just over 1 kilometer from the ancient city, making it super convenient to get anywhere.
The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. Every day, they'd send fresh fruit and a warm pear soup. They were clearly concerned about the dry climate in Datong. From the moment I entered the room, all my needs were met – truly thoughtful service.
Housekeeping was incredibly efficient. We had some food that needed freezing, and honestly, we'd forgotten about it ourselves when checking out. The hotel lobby and housekeeping department had seamless communication, quickly reminding us. Their responsiveness was truly impressive! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The breakfast was unexpectedly delicious 😋. It had a Western bar feel, and both the Chinese and Western options were great. No unnecessary frills or those annoying pre-made dishes. The various stir-fried vegetables – shredded potatoes, tofu, straw mushrooms, and cabbage – were all incredibly tasty. The fried rice, especially the egg, was delicious on its own, and the stir-fried udon noodles were also good. The large Chinese crullers were freshly fried by the hotel, and there was a chef hand-shaving noodles right there, which looked and smelled amazing.
I absolutely loved the preserved egg and lean pork congee and the eight-treasure congee. The steamed carrots 🥕 were surprisingly good; at first, I wondered why they were there, but then I discovered how sweet they were. You really have to try the steamed potatoes and carrots here.
The bread selection was exceptionally well-made, far superior to what you find in many five-star hotels in my home city of Beijing, no exaggeration. The whole wheat bread, dinner rolls, croissants, chocolate cake, and brownies were all of a high standard. You could tell immediately that they were made by professional pastry chefs using excellent flour. The cheese 🧀 here was also very good.
All the fruit salads were incredibly fresh, and there was even a honeycomb! It went perfectly with the milk and cereal. They had a wide and thoughtful variety of cereals, no skimping there.
Oh, and they also offer supper service! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
BTW, there's a swimming pool on the 10th floor that the kids absolutely adored. Every single aspect of our stay demonstrated their thoughtful and impeccable service. Wishing the hotel great prosperity, and I'll definitely be back!

This was my second stay, and once again, the room was spotless and tidy. The service was excellent, the location was convenient, and it offered great value for money. My stay was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. A big thank you to the front desk and restaurant staff, who were all incredibly warm and attentive!

JJiebudiaodejimoThe location is great, nestled between Yingxun Gate (South Gate) and Shangxi Gate, making it convenient for sightseeing yet surprisingly quiet. The facilities are good, but what really impressed me was picture #2 [assuming this refers to a specific feature/amenity shown in a picture]. I hope they can plug in the outlets before guests check in. The buckwheat pillow was very comfortable! The service was excellent; they communicated in advance about pickup/drop-off and even offered to drive me to attractions. Breakfast was abundant, featuring local specialties like Pingyao beef. It was well-balanced and tasty. The menu changed over the two days, though for me, there was a bit too much meat. If a full buffet isn't feasible, perhaps offering an à la carte menu where guests can choose their items would help reduce waste. And the cats at the hotel are adorable!

GGuest UserThe hotel's service and cleanliness were absolutely top-notch! We were traveling with two young children, so we pushed the twin beds together. This is the first time I've ever stayed at a hotel where they even cleaned *under* the beds – it was incredibly impressive! I genuinely recommend this place; the price is also very reasonable. The attention to detail is fantastic! Other areas are just as good, no need to even mention them. As soon as we got out of the car, the security guard helped us with our luggage, which was great service. The price was acceptable, the room was clean, and they even gave us a complimentary snack package. The gym and self-service laundry room on the fourth floor were also excellent.

Ffv_liuThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to the snack street, Bell Tower shopping area, and Liuxiang commercial district, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The Jin Merchants Museum (former Governor's Mansion) is also within walking distance of the hotel.
The thoughtful touches like the 'Cozy Teahouse - Afternoon Tea Time' (including a pot of tea) and the coffee were much appreciated.
We also enjoyed the 'Immersive Experience: Journey through a Jin Merchant Mansion with Free Young Mistress Attire'.
Plus, there's a very friendly cat named 'Facai' in the hotel lobby!
MM863826****Traveling as a family of three, we stayed in a suite with two bathrooms and a living room. The facilities were excellent, and the staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Besides the welcome amenities upon check-in (tea, snacks, and lovely bed decorations), they even brought a foot bath bucket with herbal packs in the evening. They also noticed I was using my laptop and thoughtfully provided a mouse pad. All in all, I was extremely satisfied. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is perfect. It is the right place to stay when visiting the Hanging Temple and Jin Temple. The room and bed are large, especially suitable for bringing children. It is no problem for a family of three to stay in a big bed. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. The breakfast is also very good. Overall, it is very cost-effective.
MM33369****Look at the ancient construction and national treasure to Taiyuan 3 times. The hotel that was rested this time is intercity in the South Central, good location! It is very close to the South Station, the airport and the subway entrance, and it is convenient to travel. The room is spacious and soundproof. There are many varieties of minibars. Although I enjoyed Bama mineral water, I felt the sincerity of the hotel. Featured care products are five-star level. The breakfast was rich. When I went at 9 o'clock, there were many varieties. My husband drank the love soup in his dream: sheep soup, soft mutton in the soup, and fans. Remember to add more white pepper, a little pepper, with fried dough sticks and twists. It is really delicious. The red velvet cake is also delicious, not sweet and a bit salty, recommended! The front desk was very good at communicating, helping to solve the room type adjustment and postpone the check-out until 2 pm. The only downside is dry and hot. Two people drank 8 bottles of Nongfu Spring, and their throat was still dry. It is recommended to add a humidifier.
AAnonymous UserCtrip's target is five diamonds, except for the lobby and services, none of the other links meet this standard. Room facilities are old. But at this price, don't expect too good hardware. The breakfast was good, which is to be commended. There is no business district nearby, so it is not very convenient to eat.
Service: The service is rated five points, very thoughtful and enthusiastic.
Facilities: old.
Will not live again in the future.
