GGuest UserCouple with dog.
For two nights we didn't have hot water. We rang reception an spoke to the duty manager - the second time...He told us it was because there was a coach load of people staying who had all taken a shower/bath at the same time on their return, and we would have to wait until it heated up again. That didn't allow for the lack of pressure - a trickle! In the end we gave up - no shower/bath. However, the duty manager assured us that the manager would find us the next morning.... this never happened, On the Saturday night the same thing happened. The excuse given by the receptionist for the manager not having found us that morning was there was a wedding and all managers were needed - they didn't start their shift until 11am. The duty manager couldn't speak to us as he was working at the wedding - Saturday night - but Leanne assured us that she had noted our complaint and that she had written up notes, and our inconvenience (now not having hot water for two nights of a three night stay) would be reflected in our invoice on checking out. This wasn't the point. The stay was supposed to be a relaxing, super special treat, not able to have a shower or a bath at night was NOT okay! She assured us that on the third night the 'tour' party and 'wedding party' would have left. So we would have hot water. Which we did.
On checking out the receptionist had no idea about our complaint, and therefore couldn't help us.
We are in the process of writing a compliant, and a review. The staff and hotel did not let you down - the management did!
I have a video of the water pressure.
On another point, the hotel is described as dog friendly. This might be the case. You can bring your dog for a fee of £25 a night, however, on check in we were told we had to eat in the bar area or outside. Luckily the weather was okay. However, we felt like second class citizens! Not only that but the bar area has no tables at which anyone could eat a meal - the tables are all low and only fit for snacks!
GGuest UserHad a lovely time, ideal location if you want a SPA, Golf or lazy day or two.
Within, walking distance of Stratford upon Avon 20 mins.
The place is nice, yes some areas need a bit of attention but nothing you wouldn't expect in an old building.
The staff were pleasant and helpful all round.
Definitely go again
GGuest User1. The hotel location is fine. Near the town and nearby cafe. Nice.
2. The room have USB C charging port. Good for my Apple Iphone 16 power up. The lighting control of the room is simple and easy to manage.
3. Breakfast: Good, Much Choices.
4. Staff service: On June 1, I requested the duty staff at the lobby at 7:30 AM to arrange for my room cleaning, including towel replacement. Unfortunately, upon my return at 10:00 PM, the room had not been cleaned. As it was very late, I chose not to call for staff assistance and cleaned the room myself. This is an area where the hotel can improve its service reliability.
GGuest UserGreat location and facilities. Breakfast is very good. The building is a little dated and floors and walls thin so you hear every footstep from above but apart from that it's a great place to stay.
GGuest UserThe hotel is ideally situated for a short trip to Stratford upon Avon. Just a short walk into the centre.
The rooms are comfortable and the bed was large. Car parking is easy and plentiful. Not too expensive.
On the downside (slightly) there is no lift. But only 2 floors. The staff that we dealt with were friendly and helpful. No issues required resolving. We didn’t use the leisure facilities.
XXueqingmeixiangVery good hotel, located in the center of the town, a five-minute walk to Shakespeare's birthplace. The garden and restaurant are connected and the environment is very good. The hotel's breakfast, coffee and bar are all great. The room is clean and spacious. It is worth going again!
GGuest UserStayed at the hilton while we visited the Christmas market. We had a lovely weekend. Reception was excellent from the smooth booking in to the hot complimentary cookie. The room was spacious and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Although the hotel is on the outskirts of the town it is no distance to walk in. Will definitely be visiting again .

AAnonymous UserVery accommodating. Lovely rooms. Location is great as it is near Stratford upon Avon and Warwick so you can spend a day in both. Use of facilities are good. Very happy to recommend this to someone.
GGuest UserHonestly, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The bathroom, in particular, was very clean, and the room wasn't small. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, and the breakfast was abundant. Considering the price, it's truly a great value-for-money option in the UK.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right by the River Avon. Stratford-upon-Avon is a small town, so all attractions are within walking distance. It's also not far from the train station, about a fifteen-minute walk. The breakfast spread was also very good.
