Wonderfully clean, modern room with diligent helpful staff. Breakfast was ok, enough. Evening food was great, fantastic flavours and generous portion sizes at a good price.
Bed comfortable with facilities, such as the shower, modern and spacious. Would have been nice to incorporate the sink in a separate bathroom are along with the shower and toilet. As a solo traveller it’s ok but as a couple there’s little privacy.
Only other concern was the road noise, perhaps triple glazing in the bedrooms would help, i had trouble sleeping.
Great location to where I needed to be go.

Many shops near the hotel were closed, littered with trash, and filled with homeless people, which was a bit scary. However, the hotel was very nice, and there was a rooftop with plenty of fresh air. There was also a delicious bakery next to the station, where we ate there two days!
Great hotel for an early ferry from Piraeus. We had originally booked a maisonette at the sister establishment, Gallery Suites but the attic bedroom was up a steep ladder without air con and bed too small for my 6 ft tall son, so they kindly transferred us to an interconnecting family suite at the hotel. Big clean rooms, nice modern bathroom and comfortable beds. Only downside was the blinds didn’t keep the sun out. Excellent breakfast with lots of homemade options was included in the rate we chose. I’d book here again. They can drop you at the ferry if you have big bags or limited mobility for free, with the on-site golf buggy on request. We didn’t need it but looked fun. They also recommended a great local restaurant that was open late. To Steki.

Everything was perfect! We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The receptionist, Andreas, guided us very well, and his valuable advice was a great help. The rooftop restaurant was also beautiful, and the food there was excellent. We were served by Danaé, a wonderful and very helpful person.
Of course, these compliments go out to all the staff at the establishment.
Thank you again, and we will definitely be back!

Extremely convenient, right next to Syntagma Square. The toiletries provided are excellent, from a well-known brand, and the olive oil-based products feel great! The restaurant on the seventh floor is quite pricey, but the sunset views and the Acropolis view are stunning – it's absolutely worth it! There's a direct subway line to the airport nearby, but be aware that trains from the square to the airport (and vice-versa) only run every half an hour or so on M3.
This is a very friendly and clean hotel. I arrived late and had to leave early the next morning, so I wasn't able to fully enjoy the hotel, but I had a very comfortable stay.
Athens Airport has long been my gateway between Ireland and Israel, and Sofitel is the only real comfortable option for an overnight layover. The location is unbeatable — you just walk out of the terminal, cross three zebra crossings, and you’re in the lobby.
The hotel is definitely 5-star and feels it in cleanliness and comfort. The room was spotless and quiet, and I appreciated the complimentary coffee and water. However, prices are steep. Normally it’s around €400 per night for two adults and a child, though I managed to book midweek for about half that. Still expensive, but I wanted comfort — and got it.
The booking didn’t clearly confirm if an extra bed was included for my child, and neither Trip nor the hotel replied to my message, though we did get the bed in the end without extra charge. Breakfast is not included in the high price, and €30 per person felt excessive, so we skipped it. Also, food options are overpriced — €22 for a “Greek salad” that oddly came with ricotta. We ended up getting Burger King from the terminal, much better value.
The indoor pool was clean but the water was colder than expected and the size modest. The shower had fluctuating warm water, a small annoyance but tolerable for one night.
Overall: great convenience and comfort for an airport hotel, but pricing for food and extras feels unreasonable.

Hotel location is impeccable, just near Constitution Square, good security, you can walk to all the main attractions!
Hotel facilities are relatively new, the staff is warm and thoughtful, although the breakfast style is not changed every day, but the quality of the meal is very good and the quality is solid.
The fly in the ointment is that the hotel has the first day to send mineral water. We stayed for 4 nights and there was no mineral water for the next three days. Because locals are used to drinking faucet water and the room is equipped with a coffee machine, they do not specially prepare a kettle, if you want to drink hot water, hot tea, you can use the coffee machine to boil water.
The most remarkable feature is the helpfulness of the front desk staff - nothing is to much trouble for them.
Rooms are adequate with good air conditioning and WiFi. They do not look like the photos in the website or on trip advisor - no comfortable chair to relax in. I get the impression they believe if you want to relax that’s what you’re beds for. Disregard the photos - the room is basic but modern and workable.
Loved my stay here. Accessible to metro and a nice restaurant nearby.

GGuest UserThe service as expected from greek people was excellent and helpful
The hotel location is close to the center and was quite satisfying
facilities were good, a bit crowded at breakfast time
at the first day we had a problem with shower water, leaking out of the door which made the bathroom floor very wet but the problem was fixed immediatly
we had mosquitos in the room and after complaining they provided us with mosquito trap, the thing with mosquitos is critical since my daughter skin is very sensitive and every bite can turn into awful inflammation which what exactly happened to her.
on the last day there was no hot water, so i had to take shower in slightly warm water.

GGuest UserI was impressed with this hotel for the price I paid. Very centralised, with the metro station right there. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets only steps away. The hotel itself is very comfortable. Though my room was a bit small, it’s all you need. Lots of pillows on the bed. Fluffy towels, and all the great amenities. They give you everything you need, and then some. Free water as well. The breakfast was copious. So much choices. I love the terrace. There are jacuzzis on the terrace! I also ate at the restaurant, which as very good. The staff are very friendly. The deco is cool as well. I’ll come back next time I’m in Athens.
BBuxianxian67Pros: The room was spacious and well-equipped.
Cons: The location is a bit out of the way, making it inconvenient if you have large luggage. The bedsheets weren't clean, with a lot of hair and dust. Additionally, the air conditioning unit looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. However, after we reported these issues the following day, they were addressed promptly.
GGuest UserThe hotel was renovated from an old building, and the elevator is so small that it can only accommodate one person and one suitcase, but the room facilities are very new and the bed is very comfortable. On the first day, I got a larger room at the corner of the street. Although I could see a little bit of the mountain view, the sound insulation was not good. The sound of cars and motorcycles on the street was endless, and it was noisy until ten o'clock in the evening. Fortunately, the ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were very warm and friendly. The next day, I changed to a room facing the inner courtyard. It immediately calmed down and I slept well, feeling refreshed. The breakfast restaurant is on the top floor. You can enjoy a cup of coffee in the open air and enjoy the mountain view of Athens. However, there is really no choice in food, they are all sweet. There are many homeless people around the hotel and the roads are not easy to walk, but the subway station is nearby and you can easily go anywhere. It is recommended to stay for one day first, then extend if you feel it is good, or change if not, there are many hotels around.
GGuest UserWe got the junior suite for our family of 4. The room was quite spacious and the kids loved the jacuzzi bathtub. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was excellent. Location was also great with the subway just outside. The view of Athens from the rooftop was also awesome… a great way to end our stay at Athens being able to see all the places we visited. The only issue I had was with the parking. While the hotel has parking, lots are limited and was full when we arrived. I had to find street parking. The first night, I was lucky and found one quite quickly and only about 6mins walk from the hotel. The second night, I took close to an hour to find parking. There was paid 24hr parking across the street but they couldn’t accommodate our larger car. The only other slight problem with our room was that the wind would hit against the door early in the morning when other people where checking out… as ours was a corner unit. It sounded like someone was slamming on our door and it woke me up. Took me awhile to figure out the rapping on the door was caused by the wind and not some prankster.

JJonesEdwardOur first trip to Europe, so there were things that I imagine are very European. Tiny elevators and key card access to power your room were a first for us. We were only there for one night before leaving on a cruise, but overall I was very happy with our stay. The front desk check in was excellent and the breakfast spread was outstanding. The loud returning guest at 1:30 in the morning were the only irritant, and that was bad guests and not the hotels fault.
OO.N.AThis is our 2nd stay at Electra Palace Hotel in Athens. Our experience, just like the first time, was not disappointing. All the staff at the hotel are extremely professional, and they didn't disappoint with the high quality of service rendered. We were particularly impressed at the check-in, which was done in less than 1 min. They just pulled up our details on their files, gave us the check-in paper to sign, and away we went to our room.
We asked for the same room 324 that we stayed on our first visit, and they happily obliged us. I love the fact that the hotel pays attention to every little request from its customers.
Thank you so much to everyone at Electra Palace, we will see you again in 2025 by God's Grace!🙏🏿
