Hot Springs Hotels in Jiangsu, China

Came to Suzhou from Nanjing for a two-day trip. Checked in late at night, and the front desk staff was incredibly kind. They upgraded our room to one with an open-air balcony – too bad it was raining, so we couldn't enjoy the breeze! Haha. The room was very clean, and the amenities were excellent, even Shuuke toothpaste! They also gave us a pretty little fan when we left. The hotel's location is perfect. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Suzhou!

I stayed in Building 11, and the front desk staff was so kind and patient, even upgrading my room. The hot springs were great too. This hotel is a classic Jiangnan garden-style property, right next to Slender West Lake, with beautiful scenery at every turn. It's definitely a top choice for a relaxing vacation in Yangzhou and worth experiencing.

This hotel offers the best value for money in Tangshan during the Chinese New Year. It's very convenient for families driving with kids. The room has its own hot spring, is quite spacious, and includes a dining table. The toilet and the hot spring shower are separate, which is a nice touch.

The room was excellent, and the private hot spring felt wonderfully smooth! A really great experience overall. The only downside was the travel photography service. They were constantly pushing sales and wouldn't let you think independently when choosing photos. Eventually, they resorted to high-pressure tactics because other guests were waiting. Thankfully, the travel photography customer service was good and handled the after-sales issues later. Many hotels offer travel photography, but they don't usually push sales so aggressively. The hotel's scenery is fantastic, with half of it overlooking Slender West Lake. I'll definitely come back!

We switched from a hotel near the Grand Canal to this one, a classic five-star establishment. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, truly setting a vacation mood. The concierge service was outstanding. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect for a trip to Yangzhou; it feels like Daming Temple, Slender West Lake, morning tea, the Ancient City Park, and Yangzhou Banquet are all part of the hotel's amenities. The best part? Soaking in the hot springs after a long day of sightseeing is the most anticipated moment of the trip. We loved it so much that we immediately extended our stay for another night. Highly recommended! For a family of three, getting this level of service, scenery, and amenities for just 200 per person is truly excellent value. It's definitely our top choice for visiting Yangzhou with kids.

I booked this last minute, after a back-and-forth between the Westin and Hantian. I ultimately chose Hantian because the rooms are a bit larger. Plus, I had a great experience at the Hantian in Liyang before. **Facilities:** The toilet isn't automatic, which is fine, but the flush button is a bit finicky; you have to press it for 5 seconds to flush. The shower has a strange smell, and the water pressure isn't great. However, the double vanity is a nice touch, and the hairdryer, though a basic model, gets the job done. The bathtub is quite large and deep, perfect for relaxing. We visited the nearby hot spring the next day, and it was quite disappointing, not nearly as good as the hot spring at Liyang Hantian. The bedding is good, and there's a capsule coffee machine. **Cleanliness:** Very clean. **Environment:** It's very close to the old town, and there's a nice hot spring park nearby. The hotel's own environment is just average, facing an empty lot. The air has high levels of negative oxygen ions. The room I booked didn't have a view. **Service:** This deserves special praise. The service was excellent. When parking or getting into the car, they proactively helped with luggage. The concierge on WeChat was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions. The front desk service was also great, very patient, and the food recommendations were delicious. The package included a dinner, and the staff even helped us figure out the most cost-effective way to use it. We couldn't finish all the food, haha. **Breakfast:** They have old duck vermicelli soup, which tastes great, not inferior to outside shops. Other varieties were very average, even a bit poor. Jīanbing guǒzi (fried pancake rolls) weren't available for two consecutive days, perhaps because there weren't many guests, so they stopped making them. The dinner, on the other hand, was delicious. We added a dish of 'Jiang Baixia' (river white shrimp) for 128 yuan, and the portion was very generous.

The public areas boast an impressive design. In the guest room section, LED strips outline a clear circulation path. The room design maintains the traditional Banyan Tree style, complete with a hot spring bath to wash away the day's fatigue and soothe tired muscles. The service is exceptional. They set up a large group chat in advance, offering a multi-person, personalized service with very prompt responses. Having stayed at several Banyan Tree properties in China, I can confidently say the service here is top-notch. There's a secret garden on the lower level, adding a touch of greenery to the raw, concrete style of the mining area. Four black swans gracefully float in the clear pond, surrounded by the buzzing sounds of insects. The moon tonight is also beautiful. The endless chirping of insects in the mountains and fields, a white egret flies over the bridge to the east. A gentle breeze, a bright moon, once we part, I love white clouds even more, and Banyan Tree.

Basically, the products of Huajiantang must be boutique. The hotel is in a very good location. Behind it is Yumatou, the Grand Canal, and Hua Street. It is quiet in the bustling city. There are noisy gongs and drums outside, and the voices are bustling, but it is very quiet in the hotel, which is very suitable for vacation. The facilities are very new, it is very comfortable to live in, the room is large enough, and the scenery is very good, not to mention the service, which can be ranked among the top domestic hotels. Basically, the front desk is responsive. I originally wanted to stay for one day, and then I extended it for another day because of the service. The young lady is very enthusiastic and actively recommends delicious and fun things around, and pays great attention to various service details. For example, when my wife had a birthday, the young lady took photos for her, printed the photos and put them in a wooden frame to give to my wife. I give full marks for this wave of service. The mineral water used is of the same grade as that of Qingdao St. Regis (Qingdao St. Regis is a top luxury hotel in our Shandong), and the various drinks in the small bar are the same as those used by Beijing Bulgari, and there are also various snacks, all free. The only downside is that the parking lot is a bit far away. It is said to be 150 meters away, but it is conservatively estimated to be 300 to 400 meters. The breakfast is good, but the dinner ordered in the restaurant is indeed average. This is basically the best (most expensive) hotel in Huai'an, so whether you are on a business trip or a vacation, you can't go wrong here.
