Hotels in Xinyi District/Taipei 101, Taipei

The hotel room is very comfortable, clean, and spacious, booked at a discounted price from Trip.com. Level one concierge Nico was very friendly and helpful when I went downstairs to collect my midnight supper delivery. Special thanks to housekeeper Ricky. Hotel is in the best location, nice view of Taipei 101 at level 7 swimming pool area. Metro is just across the road past some shops. There are street performers on the walkway behind the hotel in the evening from 6 to 10pm.

The rooms are just as advertised, very nice room with just the right amount of lights so it is very cozy. Both the room and bathroom are very clean, definitely lived up to the 4 Star rating. However, the biggest downfall of this hotel is the location. It is located right above a street full of clubs and bars. We lived on level 5 and could hear the music of the clubs downstairs clearly. If you’re a light sleeper, it is not recommended to stay on lower levels of this hotel. The services are great, and the restaurant inside the hotel is not bad either, has great coffee.

The floor of the room wasn't very clean, can see hair everywhere. Other than that, was all good, nice room service and good service from the staff.

Bathroom is excellent, first time wanted to sleep in the bathroom as an asian saying 「你今晚訓廁所啦」

I had a smooth and comfortable stay during my business trip. The location was convenient, check-in was quick, and the staff was professional. The room was clean, quiet, and well-equipped with a good work desk and fast Wi-Fi. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. Breakfast had a good variety, and the business facilities were useful. Overall, a great choice for business travelers. Would stay again. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)

Great hotel location. Easy to get absolutely everywhere in Taipei via MRT, buses and other forms of public transportation. Hotel itself is a bit old, but hotel staff is trying to make up for it in an excellent way. Amenities are great (they provide even the free box of ********* excellent oolong tea and free snacks). Air conditioning system is quite weird and a hit old as well. Otherwise nice stay!

On 11/2, I took my daughter back to Taipei from the United States and stayed at (Le Meridien Hotel) for 2 nights. I love the location of the hotel! Nearby is Xinyi Business District Shin Kong New World. There are many department stores and Warner Village Roadshow Cinemas. It is a 10-minute walk from the 101 Building. There are subway and bus services from the City Hall Station in the basement of Uniform Department Store nearby. The transportation is convenient. There are many restaurants. It is very convenient to eat, drink and have fun. The room is very big. We stayed in two beds. For the sake of environmental protection, the hotel does not provide disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste. The bed in the room is very comfortable. It's a bit hard. I like it. I can sleep well at night.

The location is very convenient. Located in the center of Xinyi District. The boss is very nice. I stayed in a room shared by six people. It was well ventilated and the bathroom and shower area were clean.

The check-in experience is a little odd, make sure take the elevators to the LEFT. The staff was friendly. The room was indicated as a window room but essentially wasn’t, only pointing to the inside of the building. I like the idea of having a shared kitchen space. There’s no service staff to clean your room. But for the price and location I think it’s a good deal.

The hotel is situated in the basement with access via a staircase overlooking the traffic light intersection. Elevators are conveniently located in the main building facing the main road. Guests can enjoy daily complimentary water, and there is a designated pantry area for dining with the convenience of a microwave for guest use. Additionally, guests are treated to unlimited servings of grass jelly. We were there during the earthquake, it was a once a life time experience. Luckily we were safe!
