The hotel opened in 2019. The design and facilities in the room are very new. The safe does not need to enter the password every time, and the makeup 🪞 is also automatically dimmed. The design and decoration color matching of the hotel are very fashionable. The view from the rooftop bar is very good. If you miss the dinner time, you can have a light meal there and enjoy the Meru Mountain opposite, which is said to be the second highest mountain in Tanzania. The only shortcoming of the hotel is that the city view room is very close to the hotel's equipment room and the noise is very loud. It's okay to close the balcony door during the day, but people who are sensitive to noise at night should not choose the city view room.

We hade a nice holiday in this hotel everything was fantastic, Nothing to complain about, me and my wife we feel it like we are paradise, the food was very delicious, drinks very nice , room as well with a nice decoration of nice flowers, I recommend to everyone to come at Gran Meria Arusha. We will come back again

This hotel is the true oasis in the desert, staff were so attentive, but discreet enough not to over flatter, the comfort and quality of the room was top notch.I wandered into the coffee plantation for a look and was given a great tour by two of the kind gentleman gardeners,as well as the hotel kitchen garden Cocktails on Friday night at sunset were amazing Top hotel and team

The hotel is beautiful ，the service was exceptional，all the staff were extremely friendly and attentive,especially Daniel . Highly recommend the Gran Melia Arusha, I had an absolutely delightful stay here,and i will definitely return the next time .

visited Gran Melia while in Arusha, service was exceptional. friendly employees, relaxed environment even for a chilly July evening with option for outdoor heater! enjoyed my visit, and anytime i am in Arusha i make a point to visit the rooftop terrace

Certainly a 5-star hotel in all considerations. The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are a delight to walk around. The food at the restaurant was outstanding and all the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Our room was extremely clean and had the most comfortable bed. This is probably the nicest place you can stay at in Arusha and the price is honestly very reasonable for what your getting.

My recent stay at the Gran Meliá Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. Exceptional service and customer care We were greeted with warm smiles and a refreshing welcome drink. The check-in process was swift and efficient. Godwin was fantastic throughout our stay! Our junior suite exuded elegance and comfort. The view from the balcony was stunning, offering a panoramic vista of the Meru mountain. The dining options at the Gran Meliá were outstanding. The staff were all amazing! Excellent massage at the spa! Mariam and Olivia were the best! Every staff member we encountered were genuinely dedicated to ensuring our stay was perfect.

Our family of 6 stayed here for 2 nights to adjust before departing on 9 day safari. We had 3 rooms which were lovely & beautifully decorated with all modern amenities. We very much enjoyed the ambience of the hotel. Could not imagine this type of luxury hotel in Arusha. The gardens, pool, spa were all lovely and delightful to experience. We especially enjoyed the Rooftop bar where we could sit outside & see Mt Meru and the beautiful view. The food was excellent. The buffet breakfast was as nice as the finest hotels in USA. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tanzania.
