Njiro Legacy ★★★
"Njiro legacy was an incredible and beautiful experience. They warmly welcome us, and were very pleasant during our stay The room had also a very high standing A very important point : when you go there, you do not feel harassed to buy something or to give a tip like other places It’s so refreshing, specialy when you come from Zanzibar where harassing is kind of a national sport"
Mount Meru Hotel ★★★★
"The best hotel ever!!"
Shoki Shoki Lodge Arusha ★★★★
"After a full day exploring Serval Wildlife Sanctuary, Shoki Lodge was the perfect place to relax. Check-in was quick and friendly, and our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff genuinely seemed happy to help. Breakfast the next morning was fresh and generous. A relaxing, welcoming base for our trip. We'd gladly stay here again on a future visit to Tanzania."
Skill Forest Lodge
"Suits adventures people who enjoys nature , clean and safe."
Venus Premier Hotel ★★★★
"Venus Premier Hotel is located at the center of Arusha, Tanzania. It is a very convenient hotel because it is surrounded by many businesses such as restaurants, banks, gift shops, and a local market. The staff is very helpful and professional. It is a big and beautiful hotel. I really love the shower water because it is very strong. The room is very nice and clean. They only put out one toilet paper and no paper tissue. The wifi was not working well. They served old crossant for breakfast because it was hard like a rock. The india bread was old because I could taste the sour of the bread."
Fun Retreat Resort, Hotel and Ayurveda Spa ★★★★
"A wonderful experience in Tanzania thanks to Mr. Abou and his tour company. Great visits to multiple national parks and a very well organized and executed safari."
Arusha Backpackers Hotel ★★
"Best budget hostel in arusha. Free breakfast and you can cook your own food."
The Charity Hotel International ★★★
"Very nice for star the safari adventure. Very nice people."
Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa ★★★
"I stayed at Tulia on two different occasions this past summer. Both were fantastic. Ask for Josef, he is amazing. The front desk (especially Emmanuel was always so helpful). Breakfast was great and food in the restaurant delicious too. The walk into Arusha is a nice stroll. I definitely will be back!"

parachichi house Bed and Breakfast
"One of the few hotels, on our trip to Tanzania, where the price corresponds to the given room. We were actually settled in a three-room room. Breakfast and dinner were also delicious enough."
Palace Hotel Arusha
"The room was poorly organized: very little space around the bed, but there was a small sitting area in a windowless corner that served little or no purpose. Clean, but with several structural issues. No balconies or other outdoor spaces. The restaurant was small, offering dinner and breakfast with very little variety and mediocre quality. The staff was aloof. For a base in Arusha before and after the safari, there are much better options, especially outside the city center, which is also not very accessible."
Sanna Boutique Hotel
"Great food at the cafe on top and spa was clean and comfortable!"
Christina House
"I’m giving one simply because it’s not possible to give zero to this place. During my stay at this establishment, money was stolen from my wallet, which I had left in the room while I was having breakfast. This happened to me and two other friends hosted in a different room. Highly not recommended."
Korona Villa Lodge
"We had an excellent stay in Korona Villa. The place is directly on the main road in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff are very friendly. We had to change our dates after reservations and the management were very accommodating and responsive. Rennystella helped us with recommendations for other home stays for longer term. They also can arrange safaris. I liked that they have different sizes room so we are able to book one room for our family of three. We will definitely come back in the future."
Njiro Climax
"Everything was good and upto my expectations. Friendly staff . Keep it up ."
Simba Villa
"Great stay and hospitality of host. Worth the stay and will definitely recommend. Walter was amazing"
Didas Villa
"Very good choice, quiet in the middle of noisy, very good sleep. Health is also very good. The manager rama is very kind and everyone is very friendly. Although the hotel is not big, it is generally warm and highly recommended."
Runako Lodge
"Extremely bad. All you hear at night is dogs barking, and then at 5 pm it starts crowing. Unsuitable for living."
Arusha Serena Hotel
"I believe the this hotel is so used to working with safari groups that stay for one night before their safari commences, that they know they don’t need to work with any one individual guest for long before they check out. The hotel is located some miles outside of Arusha, and it costs $50 to be transported into town and back. So, for anyone staying more than one night you are pretty well stuck there unless you want to pay for a car and driver. To start with, and our first and lasting impression of the hotel was established by the unfriendly and unhelpful reception staff. This was not just our initial experience at the hotel, but replayed each time we needed to interact with them. To boot, it also took an inordinate amount of time for them to complete what should be a simple task (preparing a bill for payment or checking in, for example). The reception desk would take phone calls from the room, but then they did not act upon what was being requested (e.g. having the bar return the call to have ice delivered to the room, which the barman said he’d do— Instead I walked to the bar for ice). A major annoyance was that our room’s TV came on— full volume— in the middle of the night two of three nights we stayed at the hotel. This also happened to others in our tour group, which, of course, startled us awake from deep sleep. The third night we stayed there was a phone call in the middle of the night that also woke us up for something that surely could have waited until morning. Another annoyance was that dinner requires ordering a four course meal unless you want to order à la cart. Ordering à la cart, for a small appetite, say, we were told would take 45 minutes to an hour for the food to be prepared. That timeline was accurate. A very good alternative is the Duluti Crater Lake Restaurant, which is just outside the back wall of the hotel compound. A guard is required to open the locked gate to allow hotel guests access to the restaurant, which is quite good and is on the lakeshore. The first room we stayed in did not have outlets at the bedside for phones, etc. On more positive notes: The grounds are very beautiful and well-maintained. The breakfast, included, is very good. The rooms are generally very nice, clean, and maintained well. Our only issue with the rooms we had were the TVs coming on in the middle of the night, and no outlets near the bed in one room. The rest of the hotel’s staff, aside from the desk staff, especially the gardeners, security, and porters are very nice and friendly and helpful. This was also true of the restaurant staff."
