Old hotel but the location near city center so that can find some cafe & restaurants easily. The amenities & facilities need some improvement and the rooms too. Service is good with friendly staffs to serve us.

Nice stay although my room a/c is pretty loud so we ended up not turn it on, luckily it wasn't too hot even it's summer time here. 2 big queen beds do us well for 2 adults and 2 babies, very comfortable. Convenient restaurant and bar on the ground floor.

We are a family of 4, parents travelling with 2 kids. We stayed in one room and were only given 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 2 face towels. I would expect at least one bath towel for every person. Other than that we were happy

We had a pleasant stay for a night at the Copthorne Hotel. We had a room on the sixth floor with a good morning view of the street and the University of Auckland. The location is also great, the area is quite peaceful with a 5-8 minute walk to the center of Auckland CBD and Queen Street. One of the staff members at the reception, Meera, was super kind to us and offered us a lot of help. Would stay here again for our next visit.

Not a bad location, quite easy to reach Sky Tower on foot in about 15-20 mins. There’s a good Chinese vegan restaurant and a Thai restaurant just down the road. The hotel has quite good noise isolation, I could hear neighbors not the street traffic. The bed was comfortable but very weird bed sheets - after waking up I find myself wrapped inside inner blanket and I found some long hair on it meaning it happens with others. The room seemed like it needs refreshment - especially bathroom looked old. The staff were nice and friendly.

Booked a last-minute stay at the Copthorne Hotel Auckland City for one night on May 29 in a Superior King Room.
The location is very central, which was perfect for my needs – easy access to the CBD, waterfront, and transport. Staff at the 24-hour front desk were friendly and check-in was smooth. Having private parking was a bonus.That said, the room felt a bit tired and in need of minor repairs – dated fittings and general wear and tear were noticeable. It was fine for a short stay, but could use some refreshing to match expectations.Good for a night if you need a central, no-fuss option in Auckland.
