"Just a few minutes' walk from the train station, turn right onto the main street, then right again into a small alley. You'll see a sign that says 'Hua Yuan' and you're there. The front desk is in a hotel diagonally across the street (see my first picture). The room was decently spacious, and the facilities were alright. Breakfast was also fine. The main entrance has an automatic sensor, but if you enter after 11 PM, you need to input a 4-digit password and then press a small bell icon. The elevator is quite old-fashioned (second picture); you have to manually pull the door open and closed."

"Check-in is self-service here, but we must have looked a bit lost or stayed too long in the lobby because a staff member promptly appeared to assist us. The staff are incredibly friendly and polite, making us feel right at home. It's conveniently located about 15 minutes from the train station, and at night, you can see plenty of stars. It offers great value for money, especially considering it's newly renovated. I would definitely return for another stay."

We just came here without many informations about this hotel, but their hospitality from staffs was Really Really great. I felt like I was staying 5+star hotel from their kindness.
Picked up by hotel car, free sauna, free to use mini bar, great balcony view considering the cost of staying, and also took us to the station again when we left.
I would strongly recommend this hotel, and there is also sister hotel named Hotel Daniela probably also great guessing from my experience from Hotel Chesa Valese.
Hope everything well to the hotel family and staffs.
We really have enjoyed to staying there.

The waiter's attitude is good, the breakfast is very good, the choice is many, the hotel is very convenient, very clean, there are many restaurants next to it, not far from the train station and the cable car station, very convenient

Tzyy0The location is excellent and conveniently within walking distance of the main street, the Bahnhof, and several scenic viewpoints. The lovely ladies at the front desk kindly helped us prepare the sofa bed as a separate bed, so my friend and I didn’t have to share one.
We stayed on the fifth floor, and the view from our windows was beautiful, you can even watch the sunrise over the Matterhorn. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, and we also appreciated being allowed a late check-out.
The only downside was the shower, as the water temperature would suddenly become very hot without warning, which was quite shocking and uncomfortable.

Guest UserThe resort has a brand new feel overall. It's super close to the train station, just a 5-minute walk, which makes getting to the Matterhorn really convenient. Plus, it's closer to the viewpoint than other hotels. The room had a very cozy vibe. However, I wouldn't stay here again, and here's why: 1) There's no hot water during peak shower times in the evening, so I had to wait until morning to shower, and I felt sticky and uncomfortable all night. 2) The Matterhorn view was obstructed by two trees, and I don't think rooms with obstructed views should be sold at the same price as those with an unobstructed view.

HarmonickFor a truly memorable stay in Zermatt, look no further than the Traditional Julen Hotel. We travelled throughout Switzerland, and the view from our Matterhorn room was hands down the best we experienced. Waking up to that iconic peak every morning was simply breathtaking.
The service at the Julen is impeccable. The staff is incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to meet every need we had, making us feel truly welcome. Speaking of needs, be sure to grab a bite at their downstairs restaurant. The food is excellent, though the space is a little on the cozy (some might say claustrophobic) side. Don't let that deter you, though - the culinary experience is well worth it.
Overall, the Traditional Julen Hotel is a fantastic choice. Splurge on the Matterhorn room for an unforgettable view, and rest assured knowing you'll be taken care of by a truly exceptional team. Highly recommended!

AudthewayLocation was right in the middle of the city, super convenient! Nearby the Zermatt main station, as well as Gornergrat station!
Supermarkets were walking distance away, and even food options were many like macdonalds, western food, etc.
the receptionist was warm and friendly and even extended us for an early check in when rooms are available.
The hotel was overall very cozy and clean, suitable for a short stay. The necessities are provided like soap, towels, hair dryer, tissue! Just note that there is no fridge in the room if that was your concern. Other than that, perfect stay!

Hotel staffs were friendly and made a little hotel tour to let us know the facilities.
Room arranged by the hotel was great with fantastic Mountain View. Breakfast spread was better than expected.
Do note that hotel room does not come with aircondlting. It was alright as we kept the balcony door opened with natural cool airflow.

Guest UserThe hotel's proximity to the station was a lifesaver, especially with a heavy suitcase. Zermatt has these electric vehicles that transport guests to hotels further from the station, so some places might offer shuttle services. However, if you don't want the hassle of booking one, this hotel is a perfectly good option. My only minor complaints were the awkward placement of the power outlets and the lack of one by the bed.

다낙This was a really lovely hotel, spacious and clean, with great access from the station. However, since this hotel doesn't have a reception, you need to check in at their partner hotel, which is about a 5-minute walk away. I also stored my luggage at the partner hotel, and it was a very smooth process. They have dishes, detergent, an oven, and more, so it seems like you could easily buy groceries at a supermarket and cook here.
