Bodrum Hotels with balcony

One of the best home stays we have stayed at in our lives. So clean and nice and everything thought off. Ozgur our host was a remarkable gentleman who guided and took care of us every step of the way. It was just a brilliant stay. Rooms were large and perfect. Wish we had stayed longer but hopefully another time. The only issue would be the location for those without their own transport as it is away from town in the hills. But if u do have ur own transport u will not find anything as good as this in perhaps all of Türkiye. We are on a road trip and I can guarantee u will not be disappointed here. We stayed in July 2025. Hopefully they keep it this way. Fantastic breakfast freshly served and made for each guest. It just doesn’t get better. From the moment we arrived, everything felt just right. Our room was beautifully appointed — comfortable, stylish, and the kind of space you genuinely don’t want to leave. The balcony made it even better, giving us a lovely spot to wind down at the end of each day. The beach and pool area were simply stunning. Crystal-clear water, sun loungers at the ready, and an atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between lively and relaxed. We spent most of our days here and never once wanted to be anywhere else. Breakfast deserves a special mention — it was an absolute highlight. Fresh, generous, and lovingly put together every morning. The authentic traditional Turkish tea served at the table was a true delight, and the simit — that gorgeous sesame-crusted bread — became my personal favourite way to start the day. What truly elevates Lugga above other hotels is the people. This is a family-run hotel, and you feel it in every interaction. The warmth here isn’t rehearsed — it’s genuine. The hand-made Turkish coffee offered at reception was an unexpectedly lovely touch, the kind of small gesture that stays with you long after you’ve checked out. We left already talking about coming back. Lugga isn’t just a hotel — it’s an experience. Highly, highly recommend. We stayed here with a group of friends, booking several rooms, and we all had a wonderful time! The value for money is excellent, and the location couldn't be better — right in the city centre, but surprisingly peaceful. You can even sleep with the windows open! The only thing to keep in mind is the call to prayer, as there are quite a few mosques in Turkey. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs just in case, although I personally slept perfectly well without them. One of our favourite things about the hotel was the lovely rooftop terrace with its beautiful view over the bay. We loved gathering there in the evenings to chat and enjoy each other's company. It was such a lovely spot! There's no breakfast service, but the kitchen has everything you need for a simple breakfast, including tea, a kettle, drinking water and tableware. It's quite small, so it's better suited to preparing light meals rather than cooking elaborate dishes. There's also no dishwasher, so you'll need to wash the dishes yourself. If you'd prefer to eat out, there are plenty of cafés nearby, so finding a nice spot for breakfast is easy. Our room was cosy, clean and freshly renovated. We felt comfortable there throughout our stay. We also really appreciated the owners' help in arranging an airport transfer for our whole group. It made things so much easier for us! A big thank you to the owners for their warm hospitality! We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation, great value for money and a lovely atmosphere in the heart of the city.

I had the most amazing stay at the hotel. I was welcomed by a very kind gentleman who made sure that I was satisfied with my room and arranged my transportation to locations I wanted to go too. The hotel is very clean with amazing views of the Yalikavak Town. Very close to ocean front restaurants and also the Marina. I can’t recommend this place enough. Not to mention the breakfast which was included, absolutely amazing. I’m so grateful to the stuff, they were amazing and I’m coming back soon!

The hotel is a bit tired. We stayed in an apartment, which was quite large and had everything we needed. We could request dishwasher and washing machine supplies at reception, where the lady working there was very nice—a special thank you! But the furniture, plumbing, and spa area are in serious need of renovation. The breakfasts were okay, but nothing special. The location was important to us; there's probably no better hotel nearby. The spa area has a warm pool, which is nice in November because all the other open ones are either very cold or closed. We drove, and there's underground parking. The hotel is okay, but for the money, we've had better in Turkey. Perhaps after the renovations, it will be better, but we're unlikely to return if we ever return to Bodrum.

I love everything here, location first of all. Also, the room was clean and cosy, the host is very nice. The nearest beach was just three minutes of walk away. I recommend Arden’s House, this is a quiet place in the heart of Bodrum.

Hotel is cute and clean, location is good as well. I was not given the room i was confirmed to ( sea view) which set my relationship with the hotel management and Bodrum in general, maybe i am overreacting but after more than 7 hours travel i was expecting a welcome smile, a help with my stuff and the room I booked ( topical expectations from any hotel) none of this happened and i was given 0 directions as the management don’t speak English. With my disappointment with the room i just avoided communicating or asking about anything so my stay was like living with your parents because they provide a shelter but not getting along with them 😅. Was really sad to discover when I checked out that they do have coffee and tea to be served in the garden 🥲 Room is ok with balcony for the back side ( which was not what i booked) but other room had window on same balcony which was a bit not comfortable because sitting on my balcony will make them have the window and curtains closed (maybe not and maybe they don’t care but was not ok for me) Room have no refrigerator or boiler ( which i knew when I booked) and the toiletries mentioned as available are a liquid soap sane as the one on the sink. Again, with all that mentioned, hotel is not bad, and recommended for short stay if you don’t care about the above missings, and maybe management are nice but unfortunately I didn’t have the chance to see that. for the price they are charging, i think they need a lot of enhancements. Personally, I won’t go back there as my experience was not the best.

Room was actually alot smaller than the images but we were ok with it. Theres a nice pool but no music and no bar service as theyre located right next to a mosque. It seems to be a sensitive thing. The manager was the main reason we had a fantastic time. He was extremely attentive to our request and our tips to make our (and other guests) stay more comfortable. He provided every help he could to us. Its a beautiful cozy tiki/santorini inspired space. I wish there were more variety in their daily breakfast. Hashbrowns, simple sunny side up eggs, simple salads, fruit platters or juices.

To be honest, the stay was okay, given the lack of complete cleanliness, whether in the room floor, bed linen, or bathroom sink. There was a very small, old-fashioned screen, and the air conditioner in the room was weak and had to be left on for a while to cool down. In addition, the main food items offered in the restaurant were limited to only two main dishes, and frankly, they were not of the expected quality. Also, the cleanliness of the eating utensils, knives, forks, and plates was very poor, showing signs of fading and rust. There was only one cleaning lady working alone to clean the rooms, which delayed her arrival to the neighboring rooms and prolonged the guests' wait. The situation was truly disgusting. However, the only positive thing was the kind way the hotel staff treated me.

It was a perfect stay for 1 week: 1. Very tasty breakfast 2. Gorgeous view from terrace 3. Nice pool to spend time in 4. Very helpful owner, which helped us with everything: laundry, cheaper taxi, transfer... 5. Very comfortable room (superior room) - a lot of space Only minuses will be: 1. A lot of stairs up and down each time you want to leave hotel 2. Strange cleaning service: first time it was proposed without preparing in the afternoon when we were sleeping. Next time they also asked about cleaning after we came to the room after the sea and wanted to rest. Last day they suddenly lost their keys to the room.... So the drain in the shower wasn't cleaned and was clogged, not so pleasant. In all other aspects everything was good! Would recommend and come again!
