we booked twice in this hotel during our stay we were 3 sisters it was next to the monkey forest we can see the mokeys all the time from our room

Amazing 🤩, I'm so happy that I choose this hotel, it's so clean and very cozy, the atmosphere is very nice and warm 😊. All stuff are very friendly and so helpful. André was helping me with booking room and checking in, he is very friendly and helpful. Location is just perfect. Towels were very clear and smells good. And room also very nice 😃 When I will come back to Ubud I will definitely stay in this nice hotel. Recommend 🌟✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨💛😇

In April 2024, we stayed at the Sonia Bisma hotel. A very charming hotel with very friendly staff. The room was spacious with enough wardrobe space to store clothes. There is also a safe in the closet. The bathroom is large, with a shower and a bathtub, in which there is a wide range of toiletries (shower caps, shampoo, shower gel, soap, comb, soap, toothbrushes...), the terrace is comfortable and in front of it was a small pool with fish. AC worked perfectly. The room had a kettle with a daily supply of coffee, 2 bottles of water, 2 tea bags, and contained 2 cups and 2 glasses. In the room there was a book with the menu of the hotel restaurant, as well as various offers of massages offered by the hotel (all compliments on the massages), favorable offers for washing clothes, and information about important events in Ubud. The pool within the hotel is cleaned daily and is very pleasant for swimming. The whole hotel, including the rooms, are very clean. The location is excellent, right next to the monkey forest (which means we had the opportunity to hang out with the monkeys every day), at most a 20-minute walk from all important locations in Ubud. We are very satisfied with our stay at the hotel and highly recommend this place. When we come back,we wont even consider staying at any other place.

Compared to other accomodation in the area, Villa Sonia Bisma is fairly inexpensive. The rooms are clean, although a bit worn. Our room had views of the Sacred Monkey Forest, so we could see the monkeys every now and then. The proximity to the forest was the main reason why we chose this place, as it was good to walk there in the early morning to avoid the heat and the crowds. The pool is more of a decorative feature, than something to take a dip in. It is right by the lobby, so leaving and coming guests pass by the pool all the time. (Sometimes the monkeys will run on the wall above the pool which is fun to watch). Two 300ml bottles of water were provided every day, which made us stock up on more water. Breakfast was ok, although options were few. Again, you get what you pay for. If you want decent accomodation close to the Sacred Monkey Forest at an affordable price, this could be right for you.
