"The location is super convenient, very close to the city center and just a short walk to Rennweg station, which offers direct trains to the airport. The room itself was clean, but there was a puddle of dirty water on the balcony outside the window, and pigeons seemed to be living there. Also, there's no air conditioning, so summer could be unbearable – I doubt a fan would be enough. That said, the value for money isn't bad, and it's perfectly fine for a one-night stay. The staff seemed understaffed and busy."

Great
Tthe solo traveler 3unbeatable location in terms of airport transit accessibility. there is a train station right across the road, and it connects directly (no stops) to the airport via express train(CAT). also, the major vienna tourist spots are all very near(walking distance) or easy to go because, again, the train station is so close.
the breakfast buffet had a good selection of food and were pretty tasty. the room felt clean enough upon arrival, although i did find a previous guest’s wifi info card under the bed. you can drink from the tap. the water tasted good enough.

MMauro SuardiAverage for a 5-star hotel. The breakfast and staff were excellent, but the housekeeping and maintenance were inefficient (they left us for two days with half of the bathroom sliding door blocked; it's impossible that housekeeping didn't see it and report it before making it available). Slippers and toiletries were missing.
It's impossible to rate a 5-star hotel with 3-star service!
GGuest UserStayed at Austria Trend Hotel Europa Wien for two nights. Overall impression:
Pros:
• Excellent location — right on the pedestrian street and only a 3-minute walk to St. Stephen’s Cathedral. All major attractions within the Inner Stadt are within easy walking distance.
• The double bed actually consists of two separate mattresses, so you won’t disturb each other during sleep.
• Two separate duvets provided, which is convenient.
Cons:
• The room had a musty smell upon entry; I had to open the window to air it out.
• Since the hotel faces the pedestrian street, it’s extremely noisy — crowds during the day, drunk people shouting at night, and in the early morning hours, street sweepers and sanitation workers make it impossible to sleep.
• If you close the window to block the noise, the room becomes very stuffy because the bathroom ventilation doesn’t work at all.
• The bathtub design is awkward, with mold visible on the tiles. No matter how carefully you shower, water still splashes onto the bathroom floor.
• The toilet flush is weak and can’t even handle toilet paper properly.
• The carpet is dirty, and the fabric chairs are stained as well.
For a hotel charging over €200 per night, guests deserve a cleaner and more comfortable room environment.

GGuest UserHotel stay was brilliant from the second we walked through the door! Reception staff very friendly and room was ready so was able to check in earlier than time stated. Room was amazing! We had a premium room 1308 which was a corner suite with 2 balconies. Was even better than I had expected. Hotel is directly opposite the Shonbrunn Palace gardens and we walked here every morning after breakfast. Breakfast was great, lots of hot and cold options. The underground is a short walk from hotel and within 10-15 mins you are in the centre of Vienna. So easy to get around on public transport.
LLeong Kee KwongI stay in this hotel for 6 nights, generally the room is clean, but room cleaning service is slow, some day after I left hotel in the morning and return around 4pm but room was not clean…
The room seems do not have heater as maximum temperature is 25C, no heat mode…
One safety concern is the door mechanical lock was not working to my opinion as when we lock it manually/mechanically, we still able to open the door from outside with room key, feedback to reception but their feedback is this is normal, it can use room key to open the door even door is mechanically shut inside….
Generally the reception is not as friendly/ helpful, probably
On the other hand, the location is very good, walking distance to Vienna main train station and city train, convenient to go any place of interest.
DDomicchaI was worried about the time it would take to get around since it's a bit far from the old town, but there's a bus stop right in front and a tram stop a short walk away, so getting around was absolutely no problem. The room, although a bit dated, was kept very clean, and I had a comfortable stay. I also used the breakfast service, and the selection was much better than I expected. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.
GGuest UserThis is an excellent hotel! The staff are all wonderful, especially the restaurant servers who were incredibly professional. When I needed a spoon, they even wrapped it in a napkin before handing it to me. The hotel's environment and facilities are also very clean and tidy. There are many supermarkets nearby; Hofer is the most convenient, about a 3-minute walk, and Billa is also an option though it's a bit further. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained. While it's a bit of a distance from the metro and bus, it's still manageable. Overall, it's a great value for money hotel with beautiful views.
VVerified Member🏨🚇🥐🧼🏙️ I think the hotel is in a very well-connected area. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the main bus and train terminal and just a short metro ride into Old Town for all your sightseeing needs.
The room was spacious with solid housekeeping and a clean, well-kept bathroom. No complaints regarding cleanliness — everything was taken care of. One thing to note is that the hotel is massive. We were given the very last room at the end of a long corridor, which meant it took nearly five minutes to walk to the elevator. So when you check in, I recommend asking for a room closer to the elevator, otherwise it can be a bit of a hassle going back and forth.
Something that left a bad taste was only being told at checkout that breakfast would be charged as an extra. My honest tip is that if you do decide to have breakfast, just don’t mention it. With the number of guests they manage, it’s unlikely they’ll track who actually showed up at the buffet. The breakfast itself was average — your typical hotel spread. The eggs tasted a bit off, but I made it work with multiple cappuccinos from the machine, plus some sausages and toast to fill up.
Overall, nothing fancy, but probably great value considering how expensive Vienna can be. Most importantly, the hotel is very well connected to public transit, with a metro station just a five-minute walk away. That line has frequent trains to and from Old Town, which made sightseeing super convenient.
I’ll probably stay here again, though I don’t think the breakfast is worth the price, and I do wish they had been more upfront about the cost from the beginning.

XXinglinccOn a motorcycle trip through Europe, I passed through Vienna and found a hotel that offered great value for money. Since I was traveling solo, I kept things simple. The cleanliness was good, and the service was exceptionally friendly! The front desk staff spoke fluent English and, surprisingly, even quite a bit of Chinese, which made them incredibly welcoming! I wasn't aware the hotel had parking, so my motorcycle unfortunately got a ticket. The front desk was incredibly helpful and enthusiastically guided me on how to deal with it. A huge thank you to them! There's no air conditioning, but they provided a portable air cooler. It was a little noisy, but it definitely kept the room cool!
