Great
AAnonymous UserQuite Central to where you need to be in Cairns. At first sight, the hotel looked quite crusty externally but the room (and interior) were fine. Breakfast was rather delicious. Pool looked ok but don’t actually go in as there was little cover from the sun i.e. additional deck chair umbrellas. Had to haggle for a late check-out (from 10am to 11am) but in the end, after using reason and logic, we got there… Overall a good experience

ВВладислав НиколаевичAlmost everything was great. The hotel is located a bit away from the main evening/nightlife and the Esplanade Lagoon. It took us 20 minutes to walk there, but it was actually good – a nice stroll after a heavy dinner on the Esplanade. It's a fairly quiet hotel; nothing bothered us at night, not even the planes landing and taking off, despite the airport being only 2 km away. It's clean, with cozy rooms. There's no drinking water in the room, but you can get it from tanks in the lobby, even with ice if you want. The front desk staff said we could drink cold tap water, but we didn't like it: it had a distinct chlorine taste.

XXiaoxinI didn't expect to find such a great value hotel in Cairns! There were five of us, and we stayed for four days. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. The swimming pool downstairs was also fantastic, and they even had a hot tub. If I ever get the chance to visit again, I'd definitely choose this hotel.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed every moment. We spent a lot of time by the pool, which was amazing and perfect for relaxing. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our visit, making us feel very welcome. As a lovely surprise, they even gave me a gift for my birthday, which made the experience even more special. Without a doubt, I would come back again!

GGuest User1. **Prime Location:** Situated right on the Cairns Esplanade, it's a mere 2-minute walk to the Reef Fleet Terminal (the departure point for Great Barrier Reef tours) and 3 minutes to the Esplanade Lagoon. Restaurants and night markets are plentiful nearby, and a taxi ride to the airport takes about 13 minutes.
2. **Amenities & Experience:** Most modern rooms feature private balconies with city or harbor views. The free Wi-Fi is stable, and the outdoor pool is comfortable. The Bushfire Flame Grill Brazilian BBQ has a great reputation (breakfast/dinner are extra). Paid parking is limited, and street-facing rooms occasionally experience noise.
3. **Service:** There's a 24-hour front desk with multi-lingual staff who can assist with booking Great Barrier Reef/rainforest excursions. Luggage storage is seamless.
4. **Drawbacks:** Parking can be tight during peak season, some bathrooms are a bit dated, and breakfast isn't particularly cheap.

GGuest UserThe hotel felt a bit old, but the location was super convenient, very close to the night market and shopping center! I'm not sure why they only provided a thin sheet and one blanket instead of a proper duvet like most hotels... The windows were old with a metal grill, and the bathroom wasn't a wet/dry separation.

CcalifragileThe room facilities are relatively old and the lights are dim.
Slippers and toothbrushes are not provided. Shower gel and shampoo are of poor quality.
The room was on the first floor and there was noise. It should be the sound of the air conditioner engine or other machinery.
The breakfast is simple and does not provide the delicacies of various countries. It only has bread, fruits and some drinks.
A separate deposit of 50 AUD is required upon check-in, or 100 AUD in cash.

李李The only regrettable hotel in Australia and New Zealand.
Let me talk about the advantages firstly: it is close to the beach, only a few minutes walk, you can walk, no beach, and the sea water is cloudy. Walk to the city center for about half an hour and there are buses.
Besides the disadvantages: the hotel is old, the Wi-Fi signal is often not available, the room is crammed, the kitchen operation table is next to the bed, and you have to be very careful when washing. There was also a striking warning-1,000 fines for triggering a smoke alarm. The swimming pool downstairs was completely unused, with leaves and unknown objects floating in it.
The most frustrating thing is that the ants on the wall are all in the tea cup after returning for a while. At night I crawled into my neck!
Will not go again.
