GGuest UserThe rooms are tastefully decorated and well-equipped, and the views are absolutely perfect. The restaurant quality is also good, and watching the sunset at the fish bar was a fantastic experience. The staff are all incredibly well-trained, enthusiastic, and professional—it's not just a few individuals, but every single employee is welcoming and ready to assist with anything you need. Marriott's hotel training really shines through here. If I had to nitpick, the hotel sofas are a bit dated and starting to yellow slightly, and while the bed sheets are clean, they also show a bit of age with a slight yellowish tint. On a positive note, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable; I rarely sleep this well in a hotel. This is definitely a highly recommended top-tier hotel in Fiji.

MM335233****This serviced apartment has a pretty good environment, and the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. They even allowed me to check in early. The only downside is that breakfast is à la carte and the selection is quite limited. However, that didn't really dampen my stay. The beach is right outside, and to the left and right are other hotels in the Wyndham family, so it's quite lively in the evenings.

MMizLilyBeeJust needed a quick nights rest before an early morning flight. Smugglers was just what I needed. Guest service was efficient, location is conveniently on the beach restaurant was delicious and the room facilities were clean. They even had an airport shuttle for my sunrise flight.

GGuest UserIt was beyond my expectations, cooking area and washing machine was really a good one, the only downside was the television and Olympic coverage often freezing, there was WiFi but I got a sim card and a weeks plan which was enough, shopping center downstairs and everything close by very nice

LLow Siong Lye 27052025Bua Bed and Breakfast exceeded my expectations in many ways. The location is absolutely ideal — just a short walk to the beach and only a few minutes’ drive to Nadi town, which has a great selection of food and beverage options. Even better, the coach pick-up point for island hopping tours is conveniently located near the hotel, making day trips effortless.
The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with reliable and fast Wi-Fi — something I really appreciated. Breakfast was included and provided a good start to the day.
Overall, Bua B&B offers great value, especially if you're looking for convenience, comfort, and a strategic base for exploring the area.

GGuest UserNo major issues with the stay, and the staff were genuinely lovely and helpful. However, the hotel itself has clearly seen better days, and the aging infrastructure is starting to show.
What was most disappointing is that the small details that usually make Mercure a reliable, universal brand were consistently letting us down. For example:
Pillows were clean but desperately need replacing — one was purely decorative, and the other was so hard it could have doubled as a car jack.
Door handle and its protective plate were loose.
Broken light bulbs in both the corridor and the room.
Towel rack barely hanging on.
Fresh paint stains visible everywhere, including on furniture.
Anti-slip mats in common areas (especially the breakfast area) were dirty.
Hedges around the pool were untrimmed.
Small rubbish and paper left around the pool garden and not cleaned up.
Room service trays left in the corridor for over 12 hours.
Arrival porch not properly cleaned.
Individually these are minor issues, but together they create a strong negative impression. The hotel is showing its age, and it feels like management isn’t doing regular checks to maintain the expected standard.
Small things matter — and unfortunately, they added up.

GGuest UserHelpful, happy and friendly staff who were there to greet us when we arrived on the complimentary shuttle bus that picked us up from the airport. Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the 3 of us. Very good air-conditioning. Beautiful gardens and surroundings throughout the whole place. Good breakfast provided and the dinner menu had a good selection and we enjoyed our meals. The restaurant staff were excellent. Happy, cheerful, and quick service. The pool was clean with plenty of areas to sit and relax or have a refreshing swim. The front desk were happy to call a taxi if needed.

PPapayabananaWe claimed the room at around 9pm with a long waiting time for the room due to hotel’s issue. The room is dark. The hospitality decision of the hotel is not really good to be honest. But still, the gentleman in the reception are very willing to help us and he is friendly with a smile on his face.so overall is fine in this hotel.

CcgangalicThe home stay is conveniently located close to the airport, at just around 10-15mins walk, but don't follow Google Maps, as they'd provide a wrong inexistent path.
The host is very helpful and the amenities are pretty basic but good enough for a one night stay. Towels and soaps are provided. Some kitchen utensils are also available for use or one could order some food from the home stay directly.
Finally, good amount of parking is also available.
