"The new hostel is well located, it has a great deal of noise in the morning.
The air conditioning was not working and the doors had to be closed due to the noise.

GGalina EfimovaMy First Hostel Experience — And It Was a Blast!
Ostello Bello Palermo was my first-ever hostel stay, and honestly — it was an amazing surprise! At first, I was placed in a room with all guys, but when I asked to switch, the staff quickly and kindly arranged a change for me. Each room has 11 beds and 2 showers, and everything was super clean, which I really appreciated. The common area is lovely — warm, welcoming, and full of life. That night, there was a DJ party that lasted until 1 a.m., and sleeping was definitely not an option… but I was in the spirit of experimentation, so I just went with it and ended up dancing and having a great time. I met some amazing local musicians who were born in Palermo, and we had such a fun night hanging out and talking. It felt like a truly authentic and spontaneous experience. Breakfast was tasty, with a good selection. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly — especially one guy at the reception (I wish I remembered his name!) who was just the sweetest. Thank you for making my first hostel stay so special. I’ll never forget it 💛
GGuest UserLoved this hotel. It was beautifully appointed and the breakfast was lovely. The rooms were well designed and it was the comfiest bed I have ever slept in!
The location was perfect. Right around the corner from streets with lots of restaurants and an easy walk to local attractions. The Teatro Massimo was right across the street and was my favourite thing to visit.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again although there are some stairs to get up to reception but there is a lift part way from the ground floor for those with mobility issues.
Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a gem of a place!
PPiorGreatly located just in the heart of old Palermo, and very quiet in the same time, serving very tasty breakfasts for all needs, spacious room (we opted for privilege one), and great views: see and mountain just in opposite directions.
CCabbiehkThe facilities were good and the hostel provided a fridge, stoves and cooking utensils. The room and the toilets were most of the time clean. Each was provided with one big locker. You can use the washing machine for 4 Euro and hang the clothes in the balcony. One major problem was sound insulation. The windows could not be completely closed and the room was facing a busy street. It was particularly busy during weekends as the cars and motorbikes might turn up music when they were driving late at night.
GGuest UserWe had a short stay at this hotel. Its main advantage is its location, a 10-minute walk from the city center.
However, it's not a true 4-star hotel. The room was small and, above all, outdated. The hotel is clearly not up to the standard of other 4-star hotels in the Accor chain. It's in dire need of renovation. The shower is tiny, and the bathroom paint was peeling in places. Overall, it lacked charm.
As for breakfast, it also fell short of 4-star standards. The buffet was limited, there was an automatic coffee machine, no proper toaster, and the pastries were out of stock every day (breakfast closes at 10:00 AM, so forget about sleeping in...).
We didn't have a bad stay, but we were disappointed by the quality, which was far below what one would expect from a 4-star Accor hotel.
GGuest UserThe customer service is good. Because the pool in the room was leaking, the staff tried their best to make arrangements. Finally, we stayed in a sea view room, opposite Piazza Italia. The restaurant's cuttlefish noodles are delicious and the service is good. There is a problem with sound insulation in rooms close to the road
AAnonymous UserWe chose the old style room in the small paradise villa. Sergio greeted us warmly and our stay was very good and quiet. The villa is very close to the centre, you do need the car to get into the city but if needed you can easily get food delivered from the city. The room is a bit dark but we had everything we needed at a very good price. After checking out we were told we could still use the pool till the end of the day. Nice place to get away from the city's noise.
TTravel with LibertyNice hotel in Palmero, close to the 107 bus stop that takes you into the center (trip takes about 30 minutes)
The hotel was big and the room was clean with fresh bedding and towels.
I arrived with a broken lock on my bag and the hotel staff helped me fix it! They were really helpful and friendly .
WiFi was good and it was quiet at night,
Nice rooftop terrace with bar
There are some nice local restaurants close
GGabor RatkayThe room/bed/elevator/parking was comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly.
At the set dinner, it would have been better to have 3 dishes to choose from per category. If there had always been three types (pork/beef, chicken, fish).
The breakfast was lacking in vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers), and it would have been better to have a larger selection of savory foods (meat, cheese).
