SSpectRe44The sea shore is perfect: very nice white sand, comfortable sea entrance that will be very nice for small children. No coral boots needed. Better choose sun beds not close to the sea to avoid sand flies.
Very good breakfast - nice choice of fruits. Overall good kitchen at the restaurant - big plates.
Trip from the pier costs 5$ per person one way.
WC in the room has no ceiling - so you’ll hear your couple doing things from the rest of the room 🙃

GGuest UserThe hotel is lovely and the pools are clean. The staff are very friendly and really helpful. The only thing we found was our shower in our pool view room was not good. It was more like a trickle of water. Once the staff were informed they tried to rectify the issue but the same happened the following day. We don’t eat in the hotel restaurant other than breakfast as the prices were expensive compared to other places close by. This was obvious as well as the restaurant was never busy. Even when they had their BBQ in the evening. Sometimes there was no one sat there at all. But staff are friendly

MM.O.T.A.S around the worldWe were unfortunate to travel during low season, which in Koh Rong means 99% rain everyday, by conversations with locals they are fully aware of this yet all bookings and activities are business as usual but cannot be enjoyed, such as snorkling, BBQ boat etc. because of the weather we were stuck in the hotel 90% of the time, there is NO TV (it does say in room amenities, I read too late) so just be aware, specially if travelling with little ones. The pool is not an option because of thunder and lighting. It costs 15USD to get to the hotel from the pier. There is no ATM on the island only one stall that lets you use your card to pay the local then they give you the money, this is charged at 8% 😡 This is important because for lack of internet connection you cant always use card to pay at restaurant for your lunches and dinner, also when you can, there is a 3% fee to do so. All activities must also be paid in USD but old rugged bills are not accepted even if they have been given to you by other traders ib the island or if the bills got a bit wet in the rain, which was a frequent problem.So come with plenty of new dollars or you'll find yourself stuck with little options. the night before check out, we asked the staff to please let the ferry company know we would be taking the 9:30am ferry to Sihakouville (as instructed by the ferry company). We booked a 9:00am return trip to the pier as recommended. However as we arrived the ferry was leaving, at 9:15. We were not the only ones left behind. Some people had a flight to catch later that day and were made to pay another 17USD per person as according to them it was ”impossible” to fit them into one of the almost-empty-boats of one of the other many ferry companies, because they dont work together, some families payed up to 70USD to not miss their flight despite it not being their fault. The hotel was standard, for a beach hotel, nice huts, the beds were clean and comfortable and the highlight was definitely the food at the restaurant, over the 4 days, we tried many dishes all of them delicious. I can imagine during sunny season it must be a beautiful location and a beautiful hotel. saying this, I already thought it was overpriced for low season compared to similar hotels in Thailand and Bali, so for me the price you would pay in high season I would not consider it, specially given the whole experience with the ferry and USDs. ☹️

GGuest UserA serene setting adorned our seaside villa & balcony atop, sea water lapping beneath. Villa 126 with vogue decor & a wraparound view to match was as perfect as the abundant sea life that exists below with crabs scurrying about doing their business a the sight of magnificent tropical fish of many colours including a school of Angelfish & an array of ever colourful coral spanned Pearl Resorts entire coastal boardwalk.
Sheer delight! The highlight being the view beneath the waters surface in a CLEAR KAYAK at 6:30am the silent serene glass like sea water enabled a mesmerising view; an array of intricate coloured corals with hundreds of fish weaving through its channels, unbelievable in our now ever changing climate BUT it was real! Can't fault this resort from the time we arrived to its end the facilities and activities & to the hospitality staff incl. the managers to the service staff were all outstanding & waterside beauty & body treatments with Jenny it’s well & truely beyond a 5 star resort. Exquisite food of perfect presentation & perfectly cooked seafood al dente’ pasta & rice a foodies delight even the breakfast lobster fried rice was sensational. Their chefs I’d rate as Michelin Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Gordon Ramsay you really need to sample here!

AAlex BoteroMy husband and I really enjoyed our time at Sara Resort. The room was clean and had all the amenities one would need. The pool area was wonderful and we got to spend time relaxing, contemplating and reading. Having the beach within a few steps was great. I loved being able to go for an early morning swim. The staff were friendly and attentive. The resort also had entertainment some of the evenings. My favorite aspect was being able to slow down and relax in a comfortable and chilled environment. Thank you Sara Resort and staff for a wonderful experience.

GGuest UserOverall, I really enjoyed my stay at the resort while celebrating my birthday. The room was very comfortable, and the Front of House staff provided a warm and pleasant experience.
However, I was quite disappointed with the Food & Beverage service. I tried dining there twice and both times fell below expectations—especially when compared to similar resorts.
During lunch, the service was lacking. The staff were not attentive; I had to ask multiple times for basic items, and they were often sitting behind the bar instead of actively serving guests.
Breakfast was also underwhelming. We were seated and given a menu without any explanation of how the breakfast ordering process worked. It turned out to be à la carte with limited options, which felt overpriced—especially when considering that many resorts offer buffets at a similar or even lower cost.
I also couldn’t help but feel a sense of unequal treatment. As a local Khmer guest, it seemed like foreign guests were welcomed and served with more enthusiasm, which was disheartening.
I would love to return in the future, but I sincerely hope the resort improves its F&B service to match the quality of the rest of the experience.

新新There is a special speedboat to this hotel, you can buy the speedboat ticket directly, it is very convenient for a person to go to and from 27 dollars. About 1 hour by boat, you can go directly to the hotel pier. The hotel’s beach is very beautiful, and the hotel park is also particularly suitable for taking pictures. There is no need to edit pictures at all. The scenery is very beautiful! There are also peacocks in the park, which the children love very much, and there are rabbits in the hotel introduction, but they are all dead after asking. The only dissatisfaction is that the breakfast is very bad, there is basically nothing to eat, lunch and dinner are all ordered in the hotel restaurant, the dishes ordered are good, and there are fast food fries, burgers and pizza in the park. Kids like it. Food, room hygiene is not bad, much better than other hotels in Koh Rong Island. This hotel is more suitable for a family to play, and you can see the mink when boating, which is very interesting!

Disadvantages: There are many insects, the equipment is quite old, the room has a musty smell, and the breakfast is not diverse.

YYulia/It was a pleasure to stay in this resort. Highly recommend. Felt myself like at home. The stuff is very friendly and nice. The breakfast was simple but delicious. The room is clean and spacious. The resort has its own beach. But we prefered to go to another one. It took 5-7 min to get there. And in the evening we were coming back also by ourselves since the boat can pick you up at the pier only at 6 pm. Overall it was a great staying. Would love to come back again.

克克 Streets of ShenzhenLong Beach Resort is located in such a beautiful spot that you’ll never want to leave. The beach stretches for miles in either direction, the sand is pristine, and the snorkeling at the shore can be as good as elsewhere across these islands. Staff are very friendly and can help arrange anything for you. Use Facebook to contact for pickup rather than email. Wifi works fine near the restaurant, otherwise only certain SIM cards have signal. Breakfast could be better, but otherwise the restaurant food is very good. Would definitely stay again.
