This is a pretty typical Chinese business hotel, and not really catering to foreigners...BUT, because of this, it's maybe the best priced room in this area, so if you are a fairly indpendent traveller and don't absolutely need hotel staff to speak English/your language, then it might be a good choice for you! Despite the language barrier, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and have great translation apps that help communication a lot. The breakfast has large and nutritious, the room was clean, the shower was hot and good pressure. The location is absolutely amazing - near to lots of big tourist attractions.
There were only a few downsides. You won't be happy here if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke smell, or if you are sensitive to noise/a light sleeper. I also had a lot of issues with connecting to the wifi from the room which is one of the few facilities I really need to have, but I also didn't try very hard to get help to fix it, so maybe my fault.
