The customer service lady was quite nice, but I do have some issues with the guesthouse: 1. Check-in time was 2 PM, but when we arrived, the room wasn't ready yet. We had to wait another half an hour for them to finish cleaning. 2. The pillows on the bed were too flat, and the bed itself was too soft, making it uncomfortable. 3. And this is the most important point: there's no need to stay overnight in this Chestnut Village. It's tiny, and even the 'mini waterfall stream' is artificial 😂. You can finish exploring and taking pictures in just an afternoon. Also, food is very expensive here; an ice cream costs 68. Although the restaurant is a bit pricey, the food itself is actually quite good. 4. There are a lot of people with dogs, and they tend to pee all over the restaurant. There's really no point in bringing kids here, as there are practically no facilities for children.

I took the two elderly people to visit Yanqi Lake. Because I often live in Marriott on business trips, I booked two rooms when I saw Marriott have a two-day package. The front desk service was very good! First of all, the doorman saw that we had brought a wheelchair. He immediately pushed the luggage cart to help us carry the luggage, and kept helping to push it to the room. I forgot to ask his name. I should give encouragement. Then it was shirely. When she booked the room the day before, she asked us in detail about our needs. Although she was not there on the day of our stay, she still arranged very intimately and sent me a message to ask if it was appropriate. When I left the store, Ada also asked for feedback, which was very good. We ate two meals in the Chinese restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. The first time we raised the problem of green vegetables (the two elderly people had bad teeth). The second time we ate, the green vegetables were specially cooked very soft. We were very touched because the restaurant was busy and did not ask the name of the male manager on the day. Unfortunately, The elders are especially grateful to them! Although the new hotel, the whole service team is very professional and excellent, we will choose Marriott next time.

The small courtyard of the homestay is very modern, well-equipped and attentive. The rooms are spacious, bright and comfortable. You can walk out of the homestay and see the environment in the village. It is urgent to improve. In addition to the beautiful archway at the entrance of the village, the roads in the village are old, and the house buildings are all in their own right. I can't see the style of the original village, and I lack the atmosphere of a modern new countryside. The streets in the village are still relatively clean, and it can be seen that health management has tried its best.

The location offers unbeatable views, right by Yanqi Lake. The scenery is beautiful, and transportation is very convenient. Overall, the hotel is quite good and perfect for a weekend getaway with family and kids. However, Yanqi Lake Park is currently undergoing renovation and is closed, but the section of the lake in front of the hotel is open, and you can rent electric boats or kayaks.

The hotel has a nice concept or safari theme but somewhat under delivered. The pictures were nice but I think these are old pictures as it definitely needs upkeep or we think due for renovation and cleanliness of the surrounding needs more manpower. Pool is questionable and not inviting. Plus side: Very close to the great wall you can literally walk about 1km away to the gate. And the nearby grocery is a cheap way to buy local gifts to bring home. However you are far from the main Beijing City as in more than 1 hour by taxi and 2 hours if you get caught in the rush hour of beijing cost which cost about US$20 one way. The room is clean, big and decent for the price but really needs repair and I really question the security of the door as it was no secondary lock. The hot water is plenty, aircon is nice, internet is ok, soap is great. Service: They are family run I think 3 or 4 people, they try to accommodate but unlike other hotels in China, they don't try to utilize tech to translate. I understand they are kinda old. They don't automatically make up the room even though we stayed for 3 nights. so our garbage filed up. But we are ok with it. They were waiting even though we arrived at 2am which we appreciated. And the iced coffee is nice. Bad: Food maybe it is not our preferred taste. It is definitely not a buffet and we only eat once. You have alternative restaurants across the street or in the Great Wall commercial area but it is expensive. So will we recommend it, maybe. Yes, if you want a quiet place to unwind and want to explore the great wall for more than a day. no, if you want to explore beijing, it is far from the city and conscious of cleanliness and upkeep.

This was my first time staying at Qihu Hotel for a family leisure trip, and I'm 8 months pregnant. The hotel rooms and environment were excellent, providing a great experience. However, the service was quite subpar, and for a holiday price of 1800, the value for money was extremely low. The service attitude simply doesn't match a five-star price tag. 1. The front desk staff's service attitude and professionalism need improvement. We arrived at the hotel at 3:20 PM on May 4th, expecting to check in directly. However, the check-in line was long, with each family taking at least 7-8 minutes to process. After waiting for over 20 minutes, it was finally my turn. I understood that the previous check-in might not have been fully completed, so I walked up to the female staff member, but she didn't even lift her head, still busy with her tasks and on the phone. I awkwardly waited for about a minute. Seeing that the male staff member next to her had finished with his previous guest, I moved to his counter. To my surprise, neither of the front desk staff greeted us, let alone offered a smile. During check-in, the male staff member told me the room wasn't ready yet (it was already 3:45 PM) and asked me to return in 40 minutes. I silently accepted and walked around the hotel. As a pregnant woman, I couldn't walk for too long, so I returned to the front desk after half an hour. A different long-haired male staff member then told me my room still wasn't ready and asked if I'd be okay with a twin room (I've heard of room upgrades, but never downgrades! If I wanted a twin room, wouldn't I have booked one from the start? Didn't he see I was 8 months pregnant? Couldn't they prioritize cleaning a lake-view king room for a pregnant guest? Neither the front desk staff nor the manager offered a satisfactory solution to the guest! The hotel's check-in time is quite 'international' – I've never encountered a hotel that makes you wait past 3 PM for check-in. I suggest the hotel general manager review the front desk reception department. If they operate with 5 PM check-in and 2 PM check-out, it will certainly be a vicious cycle, and rooms definitely won't be ready by 3 PM. However, I must thank the later front desk staff member who, after I calmly expressed my feelings, upgraded my room and allowed me to check in smoothly. Overall, my first impression of the check-in experience was very poor. The front desk staff's work experience was very immature, they lacked flexibility in problem-solving, and their emotional intelligence in communication was very low. 2. After checking in, there was a knock on the door of our room. My family member opened it, and a female staff member came in without saying a word or greeting, simply put a can of soda into the fridge and left. I wondered, hasn't the hotel trained its housekeeping staff on basic etiquette? Don't they greet guests? There was absolutely no sense of boundaries; guests had already checked in! 3. The lobby bar staff stood there without greeting anyone, showing no service awareness at all. Overall, the service was even worse than that of a budget hotel.

Escape from the dull city center to the suburbs of Beijing on weekends 🌳 Stay in a homestay that breathes Press the pause button for life and enjoy the moment quietly The whole village has a sense of literary and artistic atmosphere Art scene everywhere. Not only that, but also eating, drinking and having fun. Go to Kapibala Paradise to feed deer, polish coffee skewers, make pottery, and have another nice and delicious afternoon tea (ps: still pet friendly) I really put all the troubles behind my head. Living here is mainly to escape the city, immersive feeling of nature Sitting in the yard in the evening, blowing the evening breeze to see the stars, the happiness is directly full Very suitable for bringing a baby to play together 👭

The people who entered the store were very enthusiastic, and they were brought to the door of the room after the check-in. Environment: After the evening arrived, we went to the backyard for a stroll. There were indeed small animals, especially cute, really suitable for bringing children. Service: The service is simply not said, we eat in the store at night and in the morning, the dishes are large and cheap and delicious Finally, it takes about a few minutes to walk from Hongluo Temple Scenic Area. Staying at this hotel also saves parking fees. The surrounding environment is good. It is recommended to stay! ! We will stay when we wait for the wish! recommend!

The room itself wasn't anything special, clean but not particularly large. However! The service from Xiaozhang and the rest of the staff was excellent, and the cleanliness was top-notch. More importantly, it's really great for families – I think it's even better than Wukuang. The price didn't go up much for the two-day Dragon Boat Festival holiday, and Yanqi Lake is super close by. They have children's play facilities and movie screenings, which makes it easy for adults. The only downside was the restaurant; besides the coconut chicken, we also ordered beef noodles which I wouldn't recommend.

This time I came to Hongluo Temple alone. I have stayed in many hotels before, and I felt the professionalism, perseverance and tranquility of this hotel in a unique way. The shower head is disinfected regularly, the beds are particularly clean, the environment is very elegant, and it feels like a spiritual home. Next time I come to Hongluo Temple with my family, I will definitely stay here. Breakfast was also very ceremonial, but I didn’t finish it. The staff was very professional, not overly enthusiastic but welcoming enough, which fully reflected the warmth and professionalism. Like 👍 Many B&Bs are just so-so, but this one is serious.

A highly recommended homestay! The second time I came, I was still satisfied with the full grade. Last time I lived in a separate bungalow yard, this time it was an ordinary Loft room, the overall and details were very good, clean and tidy, the TV could cast screens, and the kitchen was all available. Say the key point: There are a lot of homestays with excellent environment and facilities, but the service is so excellent, really not much! Very warm and meticulous reception, gift gifts, and fruit exchanged by members of Qunar.com. When I checked out the next day, I met the tenant of the chartered house and said that it was an old customer of the homestay. It was very nice. I took the initiative to let us store our luggage and go out to play. Have a good day, come back next time! ❤️

You can always trust Jinjiang Club's hotels. I took my kids to Hongluo Temple and wanted to stay in a nearby B&B, but my kids strongly requested to stay in a hotel, saying that hotels are not bad. Lifeng is very close to the Hongluo Temple scenic area, and the price is much more affordable than B&Bs. The bed, quilt, and pillow are as comfortable as ever, and the price-performance ratio is extremely high.
