The shared space on the second floor was nice, with strong air conditioning and outlets. The bathroom faucet wouldn't come back on after a certain amount of time, which was a bit inconvenient when washing up. The bathroom in the room smelled so bad I had to close the door and sleep. The hostel had an elevator, and luggage storage was €3 per bag.
It was close to Casa Batlló and within walking distance of Plaça Catalunya, which was nice.
As other reviews suggest, you should consider the lack of air conditioning. Still, if I ever return to Barcelona, ​​I'd definitely stay at this hostel.

This is my third Safestay hostel. Last year I stayed at Passeig de Gracia. They are completely different. And this year I was at the same hotel in Porto, Portugal. 
Convenient check-in, they don't accept cash at all. 
I didn't like that the kitchen is small and there is no stove for cooking. The refrigerator is small and full, for such a number of tourists. 
Also, there are a lot of beds in the room, too many. 
Good showers, some with broken plumbing. No shower gel. 
Everything is fine in terms of cleanliness, the reception area is beautifully decorated. Freshly renovated. 
The guys at the reception are friendly, special thanks for that.

Safestay London Kensington Holland Park is a gem for solo travelers! 🌳 The location is perfect, nestled in a beautiful park and just a short walk to the tube. My shared dormitory was clean and cozy, with privacy curtains that made it feel like my own little nook. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. Facilities like the game room and garden added to the fun atmosphere. The only downside was the sometimes busy showers, but overall, it was a fantastic experience for winter travel! I’d definitely return! 🎉

I stayed here as a first time traveler to Glasgow and I found this Safestay brach as the only viable option 😅 but also the best option: it is really well priced and high value, the interior is a little dated but it's actually very well maintained and clean, ventilation in the rooms could be slightly better but was alright, the common lounge was quite cozy and the staff was very kind and helpful. This is important to me and in regard to the service attitude this hostel is just excellent : )

The location is also very good - Glasgow is not a large city but the hostel is ideally situated, about a fifteen minute walk from Buchanan station and another fifteen minutes in any direction to get to another area to explore, i.e. Argyle street with nice pubs.

Concluding: highly recommended.
