My experience with this hotel was terrible. Absolutely arrogant attitude of employees. They have also charged us twice for one of the rooms and didn’t commit to the mistake. Only via the phone they have apologized and said they will fix everything, but via email they never did. During breakfast I had to ask three times for our table to be cleaned from previous people and staff was walking like they are in their sleep.

This hotel is partnered with Viking Cruise ships. We learned, the hard way, that even though they know MONTHS in advance about your reservation, you arrive at 12noon and WAIT for 3 hours after an 8 hour flight, bus ride and other travel woes. There is no accommodation for those of us who paid thousands of dollars for this vacation experience. Extremely disappointed and would never recommend doing this!

This hotel is new and in an excellent location in central Budapest. I've stayed in 5 star hotels all over the World and what this beautiful hotel offers is 5 star service and amenities at a much lower price and without the pretentiousness of other luxury brands. From the moment you step through the doors it is obvious that the owners and management of this hotel are delivering a high quality product. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for luxury in Budapest.

Had great expectations. Main food outlets closed for 3 days without any knowledge. Front desk male staff seemed confused with simple question. Concierge not very friendly and abrupt. Spa pool gorgeous and massage was excellent. Good location and in bustling area.

We spent two nights in this amazing hotel. We enjoyed a room on a higher floor with view to Vörösmarthy tér and Gerbaud. The entire experience was spotless and would like to highlight the excellent service both in the restaurant and at reception. We particularly liked the nice smell in the entire hotel (lavender?). The most special area, however, is the Atrium area or Pavilon Restaurant, which is an astonishing idea. It is, perhaps, the most interesting concept we ever encountered in our countless journeys. We will definitely return when we are in Budapest again!

Hello, we have stayed in Dorothea for 3 days May 3-6 and we had two rooms. Generally the stay had positive sides - hotel is beautiful and nicely located. The problem is staff - they do require more training. During breakfast for example and check in. And the whole stay was spoiled by an accident that happened with room fee overcharge. And even after calling hotel and clarifying the issue they still didn’t return the money and don’t reply to any email. First time I see such attitude from any hotel.
