Nice hotel clean and nice employees

The hotel was about a 15-minute walk from Jinli Old Street and Wuhou Shrine, and short car-rides from other great places in the city. Everything worked in the hotel room, but the WiFi wasn’t very good. It was pretty slow, at least my my room. When I checked in, I had to switch rooms because the first room smelled like stale cigarettes, but the second one wasn’t better at all. Still smelled like stale cigarettes the whole time I stayed (and this was a non-smoking room). The room needs to be deep-cleaned and probably re-painted to get rid of the smoke smell. Breakfast was included, and although they have a large selection of food, the food is basically what you would eat for lunch or dinner. It’s not really “breakfast” food. A few things are, like eggs.

I often stay at this brand when traveling or on business trips. The one I stayed at this time should be an earlier version, with old decoration, and the hardware and lighting are not up to date. One of the biggest problems is that the logic of elevator use is very poor. As shown in the picture, the elevator on the right swipes the room card directly to the 4th floor where I live, and other floors cannot be manually selected, except for the lobby on the 1st floor; the elevator on the left can manually select the floor where I live and the laundry room on the 6th floor after swiping the room card. The problem is that when the elevator on the right is closer to my floor, I can't take the elevator on the left. I want to take the elevator on the right to the 1st floor, and then take the elevator on the left to the 6th floor, but it just happens that the left one is not on the 1st floor. So I kept operating back and forth with a bag of clothes, and finally I could only go to the front desk to ask the waiter to swipe the card in the elevator on the right to take me to the 6th floor. The experience this time was really bad.

As soon as I entered the lobby, someone greeted me and took my luggage. The service was very considerate. I had a lot of questions and bothered the front desk several times, but they were not impatient. I especially praise the restaurant. I brought two pears and wanted to borrow a fruit knife to cut them. The beautiful lady in the restaurant immediately said she would help me cut them. She also peeled and cut them into pieces and put them on a plate. They really put the needs of the guests first. The location is convenient and not noisy. I have stayed in so many hotels, and the service of Atour is really good. There is also Bobo Chicken for breakfast. I was very satisfied with my stay at Atour. The front desk service was very considerate, check-in was fast, and the warm tea service at the front desk was great. The room was very comfortable, mainly because of the good hygiene. The aunties were also very polite and helped to deliver things to the room quickly. By the way, the surrounding environment is also very good, close to Wuhou Temple Jinli and Kuanzhai Alley, very suitable for walking around.

There is a subway under construction at the entrance of the hotel. We were worried that it would be a bit noisy as we were facing the road at the entrance, but it was actually okay after closing the doors and windows at night. The pillows of Atour are really good, and the quality of sleep is improved Before leaving, they also gave me a souvenir, and the trip to Chengdu was still perfect
