My husband and I stayed here for a quick getaway to Chicago. Even tho it was cold and raining, this location felt pretty central and was walking friendly. The room was a decent size and felt fine but on closer inspection, it could have been deeper cleaned. Wouldn't come back here but also don't regret it.

The hotel is located in a downtown area and is convenient for travel. The room is located on the sixth floor. The windows have poor sound insulation and the sound of car horns can be heard. Only half of the shower room in the room is separated by glass, and there is no door, so some water splashes onto the floor. The experience was not good and I will not stay at this hotel again.

The location was good and the room was clean. However, there is no amunity and no water. Therefore, please make sure to bring water and toiletries.

My family and I loved Chicago but the staff at this hotel were everything but hospitable. Made every excuse not to clean our room (which wasn’t the end of the world), but when we asked for new towels and toilet paper the receptionist was extremely rude. The welcoming wasn’t much different. If you can stay elsewhere do so… The location was great.

Loved this hotel located next door to the Nederlander theatre. Rooms are clean and spacious. Only complaint is the noise in the hallway as the partiers returned in the middle of the night.

The hotel room had black hairs in the sheets and on the toilet seat in the bathroom. Staff at checking was super friendly and helpful. The room was nice and comfy besides the hair. The restaurant was horrible. They said they were out of over half of the menu and we waited over an hour for our plain pancakes that were overcooked when there only 2 other tables with customers at the time. It seemed like there was only one person working the whole restaurant. She told us they were out of eggs but then brought a guy a plate of 2 eggs that sat behind us.

Check in staff are very helpful and friendly. Hotel is an old building so I understand some wear and tear. However there were so many small flies like gnats in my room. The mattress had huge stains under the cover. I was sitting on the bench and something poked me and it turned out to be someone’s fake nail. The floor was dirty and the carpet in the waiting area was so dusty. Do a better job of cleaning.

When I entered the building, it was a bit hard to tell where the hotel lobby was until there security guard guided me. When I got to the lobby floor, it smelled a little bit... Smelled funky. The room seems clean so far, but the shower floor was a little slimy.

It was a very good stay and in a very nice area that’s by all of the necessities and wide varieties of food, great for people who are comfortable walking as it seems the farthest you really walk is 30 minutes. The entrance lobby has a smell that isn’t exactly pleasing but it doesn’t travel past the 1st floor and the hotel lobby is on the 9th floor. I would have wanted a better comforter for the bed but if those are the only qualms I have then all in all it was a very nice hotel and I would definitely recommend as I would stay here again.
