We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn O'Hare Area and had a fantastic experience! From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere—perfect for getting a good night's rest before my flight.
The hotel also has a well-maintained fitness center, which was an added bonus.Overall, the value for money at this Holiday Inn is excellent. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, clean, and comfortable stay near O'Hare Airport. I will definitely stay here again

Accidentally booked this hotel during the Days of the Dead event that was going on at the hotel that weekend. So when I arrived I was surprised by many of the attendees, but some absolutely interest costumes and people were there. Even saw Alice Cooper and several stars of the current hit movie Terrifier hanging out in the lobbies and at the restaurant. This hotel is located across the street from the convention center and also the Rosemont Theater and close to O'Hare. That was my biggest problem, so many loud planes flying over (very closely) all through the night. My room was on the side next to the Rosemont Theater and their very bright sign was a little annoying, especially since the blinds don't close all the way to block off the light or help with sound reduction. As with most busy hotels, the unfortunate noises from other guests slamming doors or taking a shower is something I might expect at a lower name brand hotel - unfortunately these problems are present at this location too.
My room purchase came with free breakfast buffet at the restaurant, and it was absolutely fantastic. A wide variety of fresh fruits and standard breakfast foods, all laid out nicely and neat. I would hit this place up for breakfast anytime I am in that neighborhood.
Staff was friendly, took the hotel shuttle back to O'Hare. Has a decent size indoor pool and a couple of workout rooms, which I didn't use. Also had a Caddyshack themed bar and restaurant, food was also decent there.

Very convenient spot next to O'hare with the complimentary shuttle running every 15 minutes. Fun place to eat at the 1st floor as well. Would be even better if they had free water in each room.

Hotels near the airport. There is a parking space at the door. 5 minutes drive from the airport. There is a fashion mall opposite, which can be reached in 15 minutes on foot, or 3-5 minutes by car.
The room is relatively spacious, the bed is very large, the quilt is very comfortable, the sound insulation is super good, and I sleep until 8 o'clock in the morning.
The hotel has a free shuttle bus to the airport, which departs every 30 minutes. The driver is very kind and will help with luggage. Remember to tip.
The front desk staff was average and not welcoming. No breakfast

I always book here even if it’s more expensive because they have the best team of people there who have helped me travel with ease on a regular basis so so much. I was in a wheelchair for a while and they were the only hotel who has staff that went out of their way to accommodate me and treated me like family. Andrea Dina and Joe are the best people I’ve ever had at any hotel stay. My very first stay at this location was because they had larger rooms but I went back over and over because of just how well they treated me during my first stay. I wasn’t treated as a burden and they didn’t leave me alone to figure anything out even before I got through the doorway Dina was there to get me through and my very large luggage as I rotate multiple times a year living in South America 50% of the time. She was so friendly I ended up calling her my Chicago mom. Andrea and Joe at the front desk were just amazingly nice (which isn’t common in a large city at an airport convention hotel) they helped me print out Covid and travel documents I needed and brought them to my room because I forgot them and wouldn’t have been able to fly without those documents. Dina got me up to my room and even helped me unpack what I needed for the night and made sure I securely could get into the bed and she picked me up the next morning without me calling them ahead of time she asked me my flight time and said she would handle it and be there to fetch me on time. She made sure I got my breakfast bag and loaded me up onto their shuttle all in perfect time never making me feel like a burden even though I knew how far out of their way they went for me. Every stay has been the exact same or better as they noticed the progress with my health and walking. I just can’t say enough how much I appreciate that team. This stay a friend came with me and he loved how they remembered me a received me as you would receive family you haven’t seen for while so he was impressed and also my mother was impressed the two times she stayed there also. This stay they had construction on the restaurant which is very good as I tend to order room service a lot they have a happy hour even though I don’t really drink but it’s just a generally friendly warm environment the staff bring to that place that make it a hotel that you return to even if they don’t have the cheapest rates for the airport stays. They have a great team and their management needs to know that. I don’t normally write reviews or go out of my way to write a note to a corporation about staff but I have for this team at this location they are just great and deserve recognition!

Hotel shows it’s age. Understaffed to handle a large conference that impacted operations for the property. If laying over or in for business, look elsewhere. More peace, quiet, service and cleanliness to be found at a better value.

DDermot. CIf you need to be close to the Airport this hotel is perfect, very modern, good food, has a great pool and Gym, Starbucks and free shuttle bus to the airport. It's a fair bit away from the city but you can take the blue line all the way in to the city centre.
It's a quiet area but a plenty of places to get food nearby. The only negative from my own perspective would be no free laundry room and the room cleaning seemed to be at completely random times.
Other than that I'd happily use this hotel again when in Chicago.

WWoshibuzhisuoweidechunvzuoAfter a long trip from Hong Kong to Chicago, i always stay a night here. Easy access from ORD with everything. Take the skytrain and you got home. Take a night and start my next journey to next couple cities in US. To me, it is not a hotel but a soul hub to relieve my physical and emotional fatigue.

MMark E.Overall a good budget suite style hotel to stay at after getting off a long flight. Everything is pretty standard. Interior has typical but dated decoration of that late 90s early 2000s style. The thermostat in the room is probably older than I am (millennial), and its settings were limited with no indication of commanded temperature- just hot or cold. Hotel staff was extremely polite and helpful even when checking in at almost 10pm. And there’s an attached Outback Steakhouse which was a plus when checking in so late and not wanting to go out to get food. I would definitely stay again.
