Wat Rong Khun - White TempleHHotelJumperThe temple lived up to its picturesque portrayal, though I recommend timing your visit to avoid the crowds. The site was overwhelmingly packed, detracting from its potential tranquility and giving it a heavily touristic feel. Fortunately, my photography skills—and evidently those of others sharing their experiences online—managed to capture its essence, presenting a serene facade that contrasted sharply with the bustling atmosphere I encountered.

Baan Dam Museum奥奥特喵I went to the White Temple in Chiang Rai in the morning. In the afternoon, this is the Black Temple. In fact, it is more like a small complex with many sculptures and other artworks. The theme of these works covers dark elements such as death, hell and so on, and the tone of the works is mainly black, so it is called the Black Temple.

Wat Huay Pla Kang: Goddess of Mercy Chiang Raiออั้ยยะละก๊ะWat Huai Plakang is located in Rim Kok Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province. It is a beautiful temple located on a hill and surrounded by hills. You can see beautiful scenery. The highlight of this temple is “Phop Chok Tham Chedi”, which is a 9-storey chedi with an unusual pointed shape. It is a mixture of Chinese and Lanna art. The red roof has dragon statues on both sides of the stairs. It is surrounded by small chedis representing the 12 zodiac signs. Wat Huai Plakang is a temple that the locals respect and believe that anyone who visits it will feel like they have ascended to heaven. Inside the chedi, there are Buddha images and various arhats. Inside the chedi, there is a large statue of Guan Yin carved from fragrant sandalwood.
