Such a brilliant hotel. The staff are simply incredible and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They do all the extra special touches too. Children club was very special too.

This was the 5th time we have been to Royal Hideaway Corales Suites as we love it. The staff there are amazing. The reason for the poor review is that my wife was injured by a flying umbrella on the day of our anniversary. It was a scary moment and at the time the staff were very concerned. When we went home we asked the hotel whether they had reported the incident as we had not been told whether the accident had been logged. They referred it to Barcelo’s legal team and despite several chasers we heard nothing. They eventually responded and because my wife did not go to the hospital they said there was nothing they could do. The purpose of reporting the incident was to prevent it happening again, not to seek huge compensation. We got no apology and were basically told case was closed. We recommended many of our friends to this hotel and they too loved it, however after this incident we will never return and I doubt our friends will either. It is very disappointing that Barceló took this stance as we would have been annual returners to the hotel for years to come, instead we have and will in the future book an alternative hotel.

We had a great few days in February for some winter sun- gorgeous 2 bed villa with own pool, enjoyed the Asian Michelin one evening. Easy to walk into La Caleta and sit decent restaurants. Spa and massage was good. Great rooftop bar, A easy drive form the airport

Our second consecutive January stay at this wonderful hotel. Family of three & thoroughly enjoyed it again. The hotel is in a beautiful location, La Caleta, The accommodation is incredible- large apartments ideal for a family holiday, easily walkable to the restaurants & beaches. The hotel has the reputation of being one of the best in Spain & it’s entirely justified. The staff are incredibly friendly & helpful. Nothing too much trouble. We mainly ate out as spending a lot of money on dinner with a toddler is often pointless - but on one occasion chose the hotel’s Starfish restaurant which was excellent. Didn’t use the pool this year, but it’s also a lovely experience with incredible views over the sea. A special place to stay & a fabulous experience.

After 7 visits I feel obliged to write a review, but honestly I'd rather keep this amazing hotel a secret. Spacious suites are well equipped, to allow guests to rustle up a light lunch if they wish. Brilliantly located in La Caleta, which is village with a harbour and multiple lovely restaurants an easy stroll away. More lively is Costa Adeje a 20 mins walk away and authentic is Adeje Old Town 10 mins taxi ride inland. The pool area is family friendly but remains quiet, gym (adults only) has up to date equipment and air con. Breakfast is a highlight.

Some hotels are style over substance but definitely not at the Royal Hideaway. The difference we find here is the staff who cannot do enough for you. There’s no denying the hotel is incredibly chic and even when busy it never seems too full. Always room at the pool or in the restaurants and the staff really go out of their way to ensure a first class experience. A special mention for our housekeeper Cande Reyes, she did an incredible job of freshening our room even after the kids had been in the pool all day and left what seemed like dozens of towels after showers etc. Cande remembered us from our previous visits and it was really heart warming to catch up and she remembered the kids and commented on how much they had grown. The chocolates at turn down are exceptional. Can’t wait to come back again and the management should be really proud of the staff. They really do set you apart
