I stayed at Xiaochengshanyue Inn (Dali Ancient City South Gate) for 3 days and 2 nights, and it was a truly enjoyable experience. The location is very strategic, right in Dali Ancient Town, making it convenient to explore the charming streets, shops, and attractions nearby. The hospitality was excellent, with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere that made my stay relaxing. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile and responding quickly to any requests or inquiries. Overall, everything was perfect, and I highly recommend Xiaochengshanyue Inn for anyone visiting Dali. I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future!

The hotel is near to Dali ancient city with lots of street food outside at night.

Great experience. My room was great and even had a private rooftop that was decorated. There was electric blanket and I stayed nice and warm. Cons is that the room is on the highest floor (as expected), but there was no lift.

Perfect place to stay in Dali. Amazing location next to the old town with so many food options nearby, very spacious and modern rooms. The woman running it was so helpful and accommodating, arranging transport for me to get to the airport. The whole family is very sweet, including the cats! Only minus is that the WiFi was quite patchy, it worked maybe 50% of the time.

Me and my wife just stayed here on our honeymoon backpacking trip across Asia and, I gotta’ say, this place was a real highlight. Clean, comfortable, and convenient? Yes yes, of course, but the real selling point here was the kindness of the owner and the staff. They really bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed and I really wanted to show them some appreciation by writing this review. Definitely give this place a try if you ever hit Dali. 정말 만족스러운 호텔이었습니다! 호텔 주인분이 정말 친절하세요~! 첫날 도착하니 방이 작을 수도 있겠다며 무료로 업그레이드 해주시고 다리＞리장 가는 차량 예약도 도와주셨어요. 테라스가 있어서 다리 시내 전경을 볼 수 있고 객실도 깨끗하니 너무 좋았습니다! 다음에 다리 또 오게되면 꼭 여기에서 숙박할 거예요! :)

Had a wonderful stay. Excellent location, price is very reasonable and is good value; the young couple managing the place are very nice & welcoming. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel just a 5 minute walk from the South gate of the old town. The hotel itself is on a side street so very quiet but the main Street nearby is very busy with lots of Street food. Room was clean and comfortable and the roof terrace is very nice. Owner was also very friendly. Would stay again!

This accommodation has a great location. First of all, it is close to the south gate of Daeri Castle, and there are night markets around the south gate, so it was very convenient. And the cleaning lights were well maintained. I was worried about the cold when I used it in February, but there were floor lamps, so I didn't feel the cold at all. I turned on the hot water and it came out well after about 3-5 minutes. I didn't feel any inconvenience in waiting that long. It's a place with good cost-effectiveness, so I want to use it again when I visit Daeri later ^^

The floor is dirty, but it's perfect for sleeping. It's cost-effective and perfect. I slept really well. It takes a long time to get hot water, so keep that in mind. The location is really a scam. It's legendary that there's a night market in front of the accommodation.

The price-performance ratio is super high! Let’s talk about the room first: a single room for less than 100, with an independent bathroom, windows, clean and tidy, and aesthetically arranged furniture. Let’s talk about the environment: there is a public washing machine and clothes can be hung on the roof; there is a small courtyard on the first floor, and there are viewing platforms on the second floor and the roof. There are tables, chairs, swings, and flowers scattered around, which are very beautiful and homely. Third, the people: the store lady is very nice and cheerful, and she will give you any tips if you want them, hahaha The most important thing: there are cats! Two! The white cat is very friendly and will come up to touch, and the calico cat is more aloof, but will play with toys and stretch in the corner~

The accommodation is very cost-effective, clean and sanitary, the room is large, and there is a terrace. What I didn't expect is that I can watch the sunrise in the morning and see Erhai Lake from afar. It is also a sea view room. The boss is also very nice. It is actually quite close to the ancient city, and it feels quite quiet. Let me show you two unexpected surprises today.

This hotel is very cost-effective. It's amazing that you can get a duplex room at this price! The location is 1 minute from the downtown area, but the hotel is very quiet. The owner is kind, and everything about this hotel is satisfactory. I want to stay here again next time I come to Tari.
