The owner was exceptionally welcoming and attentive. He proactively reached out to confirm our arrival time and shared the closest drop-off point. Upon our arrival, he even met us with an umbrella and helped carry our luggage. The accommodations featured smart toilets, and the courtyard boasted a lovely ambiance—a quiet oasis amidst the bustle. The rooftop offered stunning views, perfect for taking photos. He also offered valuable dining tips for the ancient city and, to our surprise, presented us with a thoughtful souvenir upon check-out. We're so grateful for this warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home in an unfamiliar city. 👍👍👍👍👍

The host was incredibly nice. They contacted us in advance, told us exactly where to get off, met us there ahead of time, and even helped us carry our luggage up to our room. The owner is of Bai ethnicity; their family lives on the ground floor, with guest rooms on the second and third floors. The Bai-style screen wall in the small courtyard is very beautiful, and the rooms themselves are very comfortable. There's also a swing on the rooftop, which the kids absolutely loved. The inn is located just outside the South Gate of the Ancient City. It's a mere two-minute walk to the 'Six-Meridian Divine Sword' branch of Duangongzi Dali Cuisine, and only three minutes to the South Gate of the Ancient City itself. It was very quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep.

The room was very clean, the star room was booked, the skylight was open at night to see the stars, the rooftop was also very beautiful, the room could see Cangshan, I forgot to take the coat when I left, the innkeeper also helped me mail it back, the location of the inn I feel very good, Although in the ancient town, it is not noisy at all, a place to be quiet in the middle of noisy

We stayed for 2 nights. The service was excellent, and the place was very clean. Its location near the South Gate made exploring the ancient city incredibly convenient, and they offer self-service laundry and drying facilities. For breakfast, you could order main dishes à la carte, with delicious options like wontons, Er Si noodles, and rice noodles. The afternoon tea and complimentary evening wellness soup included in our booking were also a nice touch. It's a pity it rained throughout our stay in Dali, as we hardly got to enjoy the rooftop terrace.

The facilities are smart and well-equipped. The place was spotlessly clean and felt very comfortable. The owner was charming and gentle, and even chatted with us. It was such a joy to be accompanied by many adorable, affectionate pets who would actively seek us out to play. The environment offered a wonderful, picturesque ambiance. While spending time here, playing with the animals, daydreaming, and watching the clouds, time truly seemed to slow down. We absolutely didn't want to leave.

The environment is great, and the service is excellent! The breakfast is a little simple, though. It's a very photogenic place! The butler and the front desk staff were super welcoming; they even came out to greet us when we were close to arriving!

The room was very clean, spacious, and bright, with a small balcony offering distant views of Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain. The bed was comfortable, and it wasn't noisy. The location is convenient, very close to the ancient city but without the hustle and bustle. The staff (little brother) had excellent service, and the breakfast variety was good. The disposable amenities provided were also of good quality. If I come back again, I'll definitely choose this place. Also, I saw some negative comments online, but I don't know if they're from competitors, because our experience was great.

The room exceeded my expectations. On the first day, we stayed in a standard family room, but the owner, seeing our large family, kindly upgraded us for free to a deluxe family suite, so I decided to extend our stay for two more days. I'd particularly like to mention Sushe's courtyard. We were on the third floor, which featured a charming little balcony. Waking up in the early morning and opening the bedroom door, the majestic, verdant Cangshan Mountain, shrouded in swirling mist, immediately filled my sight. It felt as if the clouds and mist were so close, you could reach out and touch them. The air was crisp and fresh. Cangshan Mountain, the ancient city, and the lively human scene were all laid out before my eyes. Of all my experiences in Dali, this early morning glimpse was surprisingly the most captivating, and absolutely worth every moment. The room also came with a tea set and quality tea leaves. I brewed a cup, sat amidst the stunning scenery, and savored Dali's unique, mellow ambiance... The fourth floor also boasts a spacious rooftop terrace. It's adorned with succulents, a large square table, a swing, and colorful lights – it would be absolutely wonderful for a lively get-together with friends in the evening.

After a long and tiring journey from Sichuan, where I hiked many mountains, I was so glad to find such a restful stay here. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and all the room amenities felt high-quality. Even small details like the hairdryer, toothpaste, and dental floss were of excellent quality. The location is near the South Gate of the ancient city. Honestly, it's not right in the absolute center, but it's great because there are many restaurants and small shops around. It's convenient and safe, and surprisingly quiet at night. I can truly say it was the best night's sleep I've had in a long time. P.S. The complimentary dessert upon check-in was absolutely fantastic! The breakfast rice noodles were also delicious – the chef (auntie) is an excellent cook.

Located right at the entrance of Renmin Road, the main thoroughfare into the Old Town from G214 National Highway, this B&B offers incredibly convenient access to the ancient city. Despite its central location, it's very quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Bakery No. 88 is conveniently located right next door. Having just soft-opened in March, the rooms are pristine and incredibly smart. With a simple 'Xiao Du, Xiao Du' (the smart assistant), everything from lighting to curtains can be controlled effortlessly. We stayed for four nights, and the room was meticulously cleaned spotless daily. On the third floor, there's a laundry room – a rare find in Dali – equipped with both a washing machine and a dryer. Breakfast, served until 10 AM, offers a rich and varied selection. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, always greeting us and offering to help with our luggage. They would promptly deliver breakfast or afternoon tea to our room upon request. And the panoramic views from the rooftop on the fourth floor are simply unbeatable, featuring three cozy spots to sit and unwind. Enjoying the B&B's complimentary afternoon tea at sunset, gazing at Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, was truly idyllic!
