Accessible by metro from airport. Good service from the staff at the reception, especially Mr. Fairoz, who was very friendly to assist and provide some advice for me, even helped me take some nice photos. The hotel itself isn't as bad as described by some in the comments. The room and breakfast buffet were fairly decent. Distance wise is good if you wanna be close to the National Museum and a metro station, Souq Waqif is also not too far away by walking at night.

I came to Qatar to watch the Asian Cup and stayed with a friend.
The location was great, close to tourist attractions such as Ssuk Waqif and Musherib, and the Qatar National Museum was directly visible from the accommodation.
I was very satisfied as the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the price was reasonable compared to other hotels. Plus, there's a swimming pool.

Check in was done quickly with an upgrade which is positive I would like to point out, however the rest was an ordeal, we waited all evening for the iron, which never arrived. The next day we called reception 3 times to get the iron, it never arrived. The night was an ordeal, impossible to sleep, very noisy hotel in the corridors, no sound insulation.
And to add it all up, coffee cup noises from 5 a.m. very unpleasant as if the staff were going from room to room to change the coffee cups
In short, if you want rest and minimum service, don't count on this hotel, it's a shame

The breakfast is rich, and the hotel environment, especially the garden, is beautiful. The only thing that is a little lacking is that the curtains in the room have poor shading effect and the sound insulation of the windows is not good. The service attitude is also very good.

It s a lay-over hotel for Qatar.. at least this was my impression... It s 5' from national museum and 20' from souq. The staff is excellent, very polite and helpful but the rooms leave a lot to be desired. Cleanliness not perfect. It s great for a night or two. 10' from airport and they organize city tours for 30$ a person in van. Good buffet food as well.
